Job Roles &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Responsible for Quantity take-off and preparing Cost Comparison Sheets including evaluation of received quotations.</li><li>Take-off all quantities from the received drawings and specifications including all items not mentioned in BOQ or not shown clearly in the drawings.</li><li>Check and verify BOQ items with regards to quantity and specifications required and report to Sr. Estimator/Estimation Manager accordingly.</li><li>Writing down and reporting all discrepancies found in the tender document especially between drawings, specifications and BOQ.</li><li>Prepare shop drawings as required including layout for tenders.</li><li>Check and verify project built-up area.</li><li>Study and verify received quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and fill unit rates in cost comparison sheets.</li><li>To prepare cost comparisons for different items whether it is for supply of materials or services to be provided (subcontractors)</li><li>Assisting in writing and filling of BOQ to be submitted for the Consultant/Client.</li><li>Assisting in the evaluations for variations requested by the Client after the award of the Main Contract.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Baccalaureate Degree (B.S. Civil Engineering) or 3 years or more diploma in Quantity Surveying or Assistant Engineer.</li><li>1 &ndash; 3 Years work experience in Quantity Surveying in Estimation Department for Construction or Contracting firm.</li><li>Team Leadership.</li><li>Ability to communicates fluently in English</li><li>Should be computer literate &amp; familiar with M.S. Package.</li><li>Will possess excellent interpersonal &amp; communication skills</li><li>Familiar with international codes i.e. ASME standards / British standards.</li><li>Should be a team player with a flexible approach</li><li>Will have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadline</li></ul>Ability to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Quantity Surveyor/Estimation: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
