Mobile Fleet Mechanic- Heavy Equipment
All Star Rents is a family owned Equipment Rental business established in 1962 and is operated by the 3rd generation of family members today. Our 13 locations provide sales and rentals of quality construction equipment, tools, and vehicles.
This is a full-time hourly position that includes use of a company vehicle and fuel card for work-related travel. Shifts regularly end at 5:30pm Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend service calls.

Job Duties<ul><li>
Perform maintenance/PM and Aerial quality control inspections on a variety of construction equipment</li><li>
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and perform repairs at customer sites and job locations</li><li>
Maintain accurate service records and documentation</li><li>
Prioritizing and facilitating repairs</li><li>
Ordering parts</li><li>
Ensure service truck is stocked, organized and maintain a clean work area</li><li>
Provide excellent communication and customer service with customers, vendors, locations, and fleet mechanics as needed</li><li>
Display the ability to have strong time management skills while working independently in the field</li><li>
Loading and unloading equipment, making deliveries for customers as needed and assisting with safety regulations</li><li>
Attending and assisting with training as applicable</li><li>
Any tasks, processes, and procedures delegated by supervisor</li><li>
Maintain professional appearance as a representative of All Star Rents</li></ul>
Bootcamp training- 90-day hands on training program includes everything you need to know about service our equipment and customers the All Star Rents way.
Requirements:
<ul><li>18 years or older with valid proof of eligibility to work in the US</li><li>
Valid CA driver&rsquo;s license with satisfactory record- Class A is a plus!</li><li>
Ability to lift 50lbs unaided working in varying indoor/outdoor weather conditions</li><li>
Minimum 5 years mechanical experience required- servicing heavy equipment and vehicles and completing inspections/repairs</li><li>
Minimum 2 years&rsquo; experience with MEWP with a strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems- Certifications a plus!</li><li>
Computer Literacy- Typing and understanding computers/technology and basic software</li><li>
Professional communication skills in English both written and verbal- Bilingual a plus!</li><li>
A serious attitude towards safety in the workplace</li><li>
Satisfactory Background check</li><li>
