Reports to: Managing Director, Dallas Works 
Salary Range: $20.00-25.00/hr. (commensurate with experience) 
Term: April 1 - December 31, 2026 (approximately 20-25 hours per week)

Job Summary 
The Project Associate will support the All Stars Project (ASP) of Dallas&rsquo;s work to sustain and grow our Dallas Works partnerships. They will provide high-level administrative and project support for the diverse activities including, but not limited to, special events, scheduling, and producing meetings. The successful candidate is incredibly detail-oriented, produces high-level work in a fast-paced environment, and exercises discretion and diplomacy in all interactions.
The Project Associate position is highly collaborative with local staff, national development team members, philanthropic partners, and ASP leaders. The position reports to the Managing Director of Dallas Works, with specific responsibilities for the advancement of the Dallas Works initiative, as well as for the support and collaboration with the entire leadership team in Dallas.
The Project Associate role is in-person at the ASP of Dallas regional office and requires the flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events, meetings, or workshops.
This position is funded through approximately December 31st, depending on the start date, with the potential for extension based on available funding.
Job Responsibilities<ul><li>
Produce and prepare written, oral, and visual presentations, letters, and memos on behalf of the Dallas Works leadership. This includes planning and coordinating the production needs of high-level meetings.</li><li>
Produce meetings and events or special events.</li><li>
Calendar coordination for Dallas Works leadership.</li><li>
Maintain organized systems for tracking evaluation metrics and storytelling assets.</li><li>
Partner with ASP team to create content for social media, digital communications, and marketing projects.</li><li>
Support administration, which will include inputting data, entering meeting notes, working on newsletters and other communications, and maintaining virtual files, archives, and impact stories.</li><li>
Respond to additional tasks as requested by the Managing Director, Dallas works and Director, ASP of Dallas.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience preferred</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years professional administrative experience</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven success in written communication, including proofreading and editing</li><li>
Administrative skills, including use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook</li><li>
Experience in Raiser&rsquo;s Edge, AirTable, or similar databases, is helpful</li><li>
Team player and flexibility in adjusting to new directions and new environments</li><li>
Discretion and sensitivity in handling and safeguarding confidential information</li><li>
Understanding of poverty-related issues and a commitment to creating educational and developmental opportunities for underserved youth in outside of school contexts</li><li>
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment</li><li>
Knowledge and strong acumen of basic computer operations and maintenance</li><li>
Strong passion to work in the non-profit sector</li><li>
Demonstrated interest in underserved youth development</li><li>
Flexibility in schedule. Evenings and weekends are sometimes required for events and activities</li><li>
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds, carry, or move objects to set up for meetings, events, workshops, etc.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license and access to a vehicle is preferred</li></ul>
