All Your BI is a remote-first data agency based in Rotterdam. Since 2019 we've grown from a boutique consultancy into an international data team of more than 60 data heroes spread across Europe. We deliver managed BI services for logistics and industrial companies, helping reduce data waste and move businesses forward. What you'll do</b></h4><ul><li>
Build and maintain end-to-end pipelines in the Azure stack, ingesting source data into the Data Lake and Azure SQL, orchestrated with Azure Data Factory.</li><li>
Develop the data warehouse layers from raw staging through the Data Vault and Business Vault into the dimensional Data Mart, primarily in T-SQL.</li><li>
Write and optimise stored procedures for transformation and loading (full, incremental and delete loads), including watermark-driven incremental processing.</li><li>
Model data correctly, designing hubs, links and satellites in the vault, and conformed facts and dimensions in the mart.</li><li>
Investigate and understand source systems (e.g. terminal operating and maintenance systems) so the model reflects what the data really means, not just its shape.</li><li>
Deliver in Power BI, building datasets/semantic models and reports yourself, not just opening someone else&rsquo;s dashboard.</li><li>
Own data quality, building validation and monitoring into the platform, and debugging broken pipelines, stored procedures or database projects without flinching.</li><li>
Wear the analyst hat, profiling new datasets, answering data questions directly, and validating that numbers reconcile before they reach the business.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
What you bring</b></h4><ul><li><b>
~5+ years hands-on</b>, across data engineering and database development. We weight depth and range over the exact number, but this isn't a junior seat; you've owned real warehouse work, not just touched it.</li><li><b>
Core stack you'll work in:</b> T-SQL &middot; Azure (Data Factory, Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL) &middot; Power BI &middot; Git &mdash; plus Data Vault and dimensional modelling.</li><li><b>
Real relational-database depth:</b> you model in 3NF, read an execution plan, tune a slow query, and work confidently in the Data Vault layer beneath the mart, not just the semantic layer on top.</li><li><b>
Excellent T-SQL:</b> especially stored procedures for transformation and loading.</li><li><b>
Hands-on Azure data engineering: </b>you've built end-to-end pipelines with ADF, Data Lake Gen2 and Azure SQL.</li><li><b>
You build in Power BI, not just consume it:</b> datasets/semantic models, relationships, DAX, reports.</li><li><b>
A reliability habit:</b> data quality validated and monitored as part of the work, Git as a default, and the confidence to trace a broken pipeline/proc/DB project to root cause and fix it calmly.</li><li><b>
Communication: </b>fully comfortable in English to collaborate with clients and a remote team.</li><li><b>
Nice to have:</b> experience with Data Vault 2.0 specifically (hubs, links, satellites, hash keys); exposure to a semantic-layer tool such as Dremio; background in operational / logistics / industrial domains (e.g. ports, terminals, maintenance/CMMS, IoT-style event data).</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Short Case:</b> a real slice of the job, sent to you ahead of time. You'll even have the option to message the event owner with questions while you work, because asking the right questions is part of the job. A real person reads every submission.</li><li><b>
Deep Dive:</b> you will meet with senior colleagues to assess actual competence through discussion of previous projects, problem-solving approach, and technical depth.</li></ul><ul><li><b>
Cultural Fit Interview:</b> to explore if we match on values and behaviours and have a discussion more focused on collaboration style, consulting mindset, and team fit rather than technical evaluation.</li><li><b>
Leadership Interview:</b> you speak with one or two founder members (the people holding AYBI's top-level anchor roles) about your ambitions, the roles you'd want to grow into, and long-term fit at All Your BI.</li><li><b>
Decision:</b> after the final stage, our team reviews your application, we aim to decide within 5 working days, and we keep you posted the whole way.</li></ul></div>
