As a </i></b><b><i>Director of Clinical Operations,</i></b><b><i> You will:</i></b></div><br>

Oversees all patient care services provided by the hospice team.</li></ul><ul><li>
Supports and advises nursing supervisors to help improve patient care.</li></ul><ul><li>
Assists with patient care planning and evaluation as needed.</li></ul><ul><li>
Helps prepare and manage the hospice&rsquo;s budget.</li></ul><ul><li>
Monitors patient volume to adjust staffing and resources accordingly.</li></ul><ul><li>
Evaluates the performance of nursing supervisors and helps them evaluate their teams.</li></ul><ul><li>
Hires, evaluates, and, when necessary, terminates staff.</li></ul><ul><li>
Conducts regular performance reviews for clinical staff.</li></ul><ul><li>
Ensures patient records are accurate and meet legal requirements.</li></ul><ul><li>
Manages supplies and equipment needed for patient care.</li></ul><ul><li>
Develops and oversees training programs for new staff.</li></ul><ul><li>
Plans ongoing education and training.</li></ul><ul><li>
Monitors and improves the quality and safety of hospice services.</li></ul><ul><li>
Helps set goals and create policies for the organization.</li></ul><ul><li>
Ensures the hospice complies with all laws and certification standards.</li></ul><ul><li>
Keeps up with changes in hospice care and shares updates with the team.</li></ul><ul><li>
Promotes hospice services within the healthcare community.</li></ul><ul><li>
Serves as acting Executive Director when the main director is unavailable.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><i><br>

</div></div></div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications
</b></h2><div><div><div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in nursing from an accredited program by the National League for Nursing. Master&rsquo;s degree in hospice preferred.</li></ul><ul><li>
Three years of management experience in a hospice or related health care organization</li></ul><ul><li>
Registered nurse in the State with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State.</li></ul><ul><li>
Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or Organization requirements and is in good working order.</li></ul><ul><li>
Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.</li></ul><ul><li>
Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community.</li></ul><ul><li>
Has excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul><ul><li>
Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and CHAP standards.</li></ul>
