Position Summary
The Radiologic Technologist &ndash; Medical Assistant (Level I) serves as a frontline clinical team member responsible for performing radiologic imaging and a broad range of diagnostic procedures for Veterans and federal examinees.
This entry-level role (0&ndash;2 years&rsquo; experience) is ideal for a motivated technologist who is eager to grow within a collaborative, cross-trained clinic environment. You will be responsible for delivering accurate diagnostic testing while maintaining professional, friendly, and compassionate experience for every examinee.
Through teamwork and cross-training, AMG technologists are empowered to perform multiple diagnostic services to ensure efficient, respectful, and high-quality care.

Predictable clinic schedule</li></ul>
Work Location: In-Person &ndash; Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin 
Core Responsibilities
Radiologic (X-Ray) Duties<ul><li>
Perform radiologic exams and procedures as ordered</li><li>
Operate x-ray equipment and ensure high-quality imaging</li><li>
Troubleshoot equipment concerns and report malfunctions promptly</li><li>
Maintain radiation safety standards and compliance</li></ul>
Medical Assistant &amp; Diagnostic Testing Duties<ul><li>
Perform vital signs and diagnostic testing including:
<ul><li>EKGs</li>
<li>Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs)</li>
<li>Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) testing</li>
<li>Audiograms</li>
<li>Vision screening</li>
<li>Smell testing</li>
</ul></li><li>Screen for contraindications prior to testing</li><li>
Identify when additional provider attention may be required</li><li>
Assist providers during examinations as needed</li></ul>
Lab &amp; Phlebotomy Duties<ul><li>
Collect, label, and process blood and urine samples</li><li>
Centrifuge and prepare specimens properly</li><li>
Maintain infection control and cleanliness of lab areas</li></ul>
Administrative &amp; Clinic Support<ul><li>
Schedule appointments and process documentation in DaySmart</li><li>
Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality</li><li>
Assist with chart preparation and provider chart review</li><li>
Support supply ordering and clinic housekeeping</li><li>
Assist with onboarding and training of new team members</li></ul>
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field</li><li>
Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)</li><li>
Current Wisconsin State Radiologic Technologist license</li><li>
CPR certification</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
0&ndash;2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience (Entry Level)</li><li>
CAOHC Certification (Audiometry)</li><li>
Prior experience performing multi-modality diagnostic testing</li></ul>
