For more information about us, please visit our website: https://allemanhall.com/Overview of Position:Responsibilities of the role will include working directly with the attorneys, paralegals, and other legal assistants to file and prosecute patent applications in the United States Patent &amp; Trademark Office (USPTO). The ideal candidate for this job has a skill set that includes the ability to multi-task, prioritize many projects with multiple people, self-motivate, and adhere to fast-paced deadlines.Employees may work remotely from home on a hybrid basis. Currently, we ask our firm's Portland-area employees to work in the office a minimum of once per week on mandatory Wednesdays. Our office is located in downtown Portland with easy access to public transportation.This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of 37.5 - 40 hours per week. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.Responsibilities: <ul><li>Prepare form letters, correspondence, and other written materials</li><li>Send daily form letter reports to members of the staff; follow-up with staff members as needed</li><li>Utilize electronic systems for submission of materials to the USPTO</li><li>Enter, download, and review data using various computer software programs</li><li>Research IP manuals to ensure compliance with USPTO rules and regulations</li><li>Manage workflow, ensuring that deadlines are met and work is completed correctly</li><li>May be responsible for mailing out letters and documents from the firm&rsquo;s office building</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs and ability to efficiently learn and use various computer programs</li><li>Ability to complete detail-oriented tasks with a high degree of accuracy</li><li>Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner</li><li>Positive attitude and ability to communicate professionally with supervisors and colleagues</li><li>A college degree is preferred, but not required</li><li>Relevant professional experience is preferred, but not required</li><li>We will consider persons with a wide range of experience for this position. Those with minimal related experience are welcome to apply.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits: The starting wage range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 per hour. Compensation will depend on experience of the successful applicant.
