This position requires strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to adapt quickly in a high-paced, evolving environment.The Associate will coordinate supplier communication, inventory planning, and purchase execution while maintaining pricing files and assisting with pricing updates.This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives on managing data, processes, and completing priorities in a fast-changing business environment.Key Responsibilities Purchasing &amp; Supply Chain Management <ul><li>Support purchasing functions for packaged animal feed ingredient products, ensuring timely procurement and appropriate inventory levels.</li><li>Prepare and process purchase orders, track shipments, and coordinate delivery schedules to meet production and customer demand.</li><li>Update demand forecasting and inventory planning daily to minimize shortages and excess inventory.</li><li>Maintain accurate purchasing, supplier, and inventory data in ERP systems.</li><li>Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, lead times, and resolve discrepancies or service issues.</li><li>Ensure adherence to quality, regulatory, and industry standards for feed and nutritional products.</li></ul>Pricing Administration &amp; Support <ul><li>Maintain and update customer pricing files, formulas, and cost structures within pricing systems and Excel-based tools.</li><li>Provide administrative support for pricing updates, extensions, and adjustments to ensure accuracy and consistency.</li><li>Assist with the preparation and maintenance of pricing models using advanced Excel functions.</li></ul>Data Analysis &amp; Reporting <ul><li>Develop and maintain Excel-based tools, reports, and dashboards for purchasing and pricing analysis.</li><li>Analyze purchasing performance, supplier costs, and market trends to provide actionable insights.</li><li>Identify data inconsistencies and drive continuous improvement in reporting accuracy.</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration <ul><li>Serve as a key liaison between purchasing, sales, operations, customer service, and finance.</li><li>Support production planning and scheduling by ensuring product availability aligns with demand requirements.</li><li>Provide timely communication regarding supply risks, pricing changes, and operational challenges.</li></ul>Leadership &amp; Professional Expectations <ul><li>Exhibit strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability.</li><li>Take ownership of responsibilities and demonstrate initiative.</li><li>Work effectively under pressure and meet critical deadlines.</li><li>Be part of a collaborative, team-first culture.</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience <ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in supply chain, Business, Finance, Agriculture, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.</li><li>3+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, pricing, or merchandising preferred.</li><li>Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or related industries is preferred; experience in animal feed, nutrition, or agriculture, is a plus, but not required.</li><li>Knowledge of freight logistics and supplier management practices.</li></ul>Technical &amp; Professional Skills <ul><li>Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros, data modeling, complex formulas).</li><li>Experience with ERP systems and pricing tools.</li><li>Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to manage large datasets and ensure precision in cost and pricing information.</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills.</li></ul>Team Culture &amp; Expectations At D&amp;D Ingredients, we strive for excellence through collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
