<b>Summary of Position:</b><br>
The Physician in Allergy &amp; Immunology is responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and management services to patients with allergic and immunologic disorders. This role leads clinical decision-making, oversees patient care plans, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care. The Physician maintains compliance with clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and organizational goals to optimize patient outcomes and service delivery.<br>

<b>Key Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute, chronic, and complex allergic and immunologic conditions.</li>
<li>Develop individualized treatment plans including pharmacologic therapies, immunotherapy, and other interventions.</li>
<li>Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as skin testing, pulmonary function tests, and laboratory evaluations.</li>
<li>Provide patient education and counseling regarding disease management, prevention, and treatment adherence.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, nursing staff, and administrative teams to coordinate care.</li>
<li>Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).</li>
<li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and continuing medical education activities.</li>
<li>Maintain licensure, certifications, and compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards.</li>
<li>Provide leadership in clinical protocol development and implementation.</li>
<li>Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to other healthcare providers as needed.</li>
<li>Engage in community outreach and patient engagement activities as appropriate.</li>
</ul><div><b>Qualifications:</b></div>
<ul><li>MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.</li>
<li>Board certification or eligibility in Allergy &amp; Immunology.</li>
<li>Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.</li>
<li>Fellowship training in Allergy &amp; Immunology required.</li>
<li>DEA registration or completion of DEA Waiver</li>
<li>ACLS and BLS certification required.</li>
<li>Prior experience in outpatient allergy and immunology care preferred.</li>
</ul>

<b>Preferred Skills &amp; Experience:</b></div>
<ul><li>Strong clinical judgment and expertise in managing complex allergic and immunologic disorders.</li>
<li>Effective leadership and communication skills.</li>
<li>Experience with clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Proficiency with EMR systems and electronic documentation.</li>
<li>Commitment to patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration.</li>

<b>Physical Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>Ability to perform clinical exams, procedures, and patient interactions throughout the clinic day.</li>
<li>Prolonged standing, walking, and use of clinical equipment.</li>
<li>Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds as necessary.</li>
