Position OverviewWe are seeking a clinically strong and organized Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Internal Medicine or Family Medicine experience to join our outpatient practice in Houston. This part-time role offers a structured, team-based environment with a balanced mix of independent patient care and collaborative physician support.Schedule<ul><li>Part-time: 3 fixed days per week</li><li>Two days: 8:00 AM &ndash; 5:00 PM</li><li>One day: 9:00 AM &ndash; 6:00 PM</li><li>1-hour lunch break (unpaid)</li></ul>Independent Care<ul><li>See stable, straightforward follow-up patients (12&ndash;16 patients/day total)</li><li>Manage chronic conditions such as: Osteoporosis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Gout, Allergic rhinitis (kids and adults), Asthma (maintenance care) (kids and adults), Atopic Dermatitis (kids and adults)</li><li>Conduct Principal Care Management (PCM) visits (including phone-based visits)</li></ul>Collaborative Care<ul><li>Work directly with the physician to evaluate more complex patients</li><li>Obtain and organize detailed histories</li><li>Present concise summaries to support efficient, team-based decision-making</li><li>Participate in shared management of higher-complexity cases</li></ul>Allergy &amp; Infusion Services<ul><li>Allergy procedures, immunotherapy injections and IV infusions are highly protocol-driven</li><li>APP role includes:</li><li>Clinical oversight</li><li>Patient counseling (allergy shots, inhalers, environmental controls)</li><li>Availability for evaluation of any adverse reactions</li></ul>Documentation<ul><li>EMR: eClinicalWorks</li><li>AI scribe support provided to minimize documentation burden and after-hours charting</li></ul>Support &amp; Training<ul><li>On-site physician support during onboarding</li><li>Ongoing physician availability (phone/video) at all times</li><li>Structured clinical protocols for allergy and infusion care</li></ul>Opportunities<ul><li>Optional participation in clinical research trials</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Licensed NP or PA in Texas</li><li>Prior Internal Medicine experience required</li><li>Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills</li><li>Excellent communication and patient education abilities</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Competitive hourly rate: $55-$65/hour, based on experience</li></ul>Why Join Us<ul><li>Predictable schedule</li><li>Balanced workflow: independent + collaborative care</li><li>Supportive, physician-led environment</li><li>Low administrative burden with AI-assisted documentation</li><li>Opportunity for clinical variety without high-volume pressure</li></ul>We are looking for a reliable, team-oriented clinician who values structure, efficiency, and high-quality patient care.Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Medical Specialty:<ul><li>Internal Medicine</li><li>Rheumatology</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>internal medicine or family medicine: 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
