<div>About the Role:
The Pharmacy Technician provides pharmacy support services to clinical research participants under the supervision of the Pharm D and the Principal Investigator. This role ensures investigational products (IP) are prepared, labeled, dispensed, and documented accurately, while collaborating closely with clinical research coordinators, laboratory staff, and other site personnel to support protocol compliance and study timelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Receive, review, and verify prescription orders from the Principal Investigator to ensure study validity.</li><li>
Prepare and dispense medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and study protocols.</li><li>
Support pharmacological services by stocking, assembling, and labeling investigational products.</li><li>
Assist clinical research staff by addressing inquiries and referring complex issues to the Principal Investigator or Pharmacist as needed.</li><li>
Maintain accurate pharmacy inventory records to support smooth clinical trial operations.</li><li>
Ensure a sterile and compliant environment for medication preparation and dispensing.</li><li>
Follow security measures and quality control protocols to maintain the integrity of investigational products.</li><li>
Meet all study protocol requirements and deadlines, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.</li><li>
Adhere to all company policies, protocols, and regulatory compliance standards to maintain confidentiality and integrity.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of clinical research operations.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED required; Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) preferred.</li><li>
Certified Medical Assistant preferred.</li><li>
Prior experience in a pharmacy, clinical research, or healthcare setting is highly desirable.</li><li>
Knowledge of pharmacy information systems, prescription processing, and regulatory guidelines related to investigational products.</li><li>
Working knowledge of pharmacy information systems.</li></ul>

Pharmacy Technician

<div>*This is a full-time, temporary position currently estimated to last until December 31, 2026 (subject to business needs). There may be the possibility for this position to become permanent.* 
Summary:
The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) supports the coordination and execution of clinical research studies within a healthcare setting. This role ensures clinical trials are conducted in compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies while protecting participant safety and data integrity. Working closely with Principal Investigators (PIs), research staff, and study participants, the CRC assists with participant screening, data collection, and the coordination of study activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality research outcomes. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<div><ul><li>
Assist in the coordination and execution of clinical research protocols under the supervision of the PI and senior research staff</li><li>
Conduct screening visits to collect medical history &amp; other information from study participants</li><li>
Assist with informed consent and enrollment of study participants in accordance with protocol requirements and ethical guidelines</li><li>
Coordinate and schedule study visits, procedures, and follow-up activities with study participants and clinical teams</li><li>
Collect, record, and maintain accurate clinical research data and source documentation in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards</li><li>
Communicate with study participants to provide education, answer questions, and support adherence to study requirements</li><li>
Monitor study progress and report adverse events, protocol deviations, and other study-related issues to the research team</li><li>
Adhere to site standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines</li><li>
Draw, process, and ship laboratory specimens, including the handling of dangerous goods, in accordance with regulations (if qualified)</li><li>
Scan, upload, file, and maintain organized study records and documentation</li><li>
Apply critical thinking skills to support efficient study operations and problem resolution</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul></div> 
Qualifications:<div><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate&rsquo;s degree or higher in a health-related field preferred</li><li>
Basic knowledge of clinical research strongly preferred</li><li>
Medical terminology &amp; patient care experience required</li><li>
Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities</li><li>
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse populations</li><li>
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment</li><li>
Knowledge of GCP, HIPAA, ALCOA principles, FDA regulations, and IATA guidelines strongly preferred</li><li>
Experience with participant screening and the informed consent process strongly preferred</li><li>
Proficiency with electronic data capture systems, clinical trial management software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) preferred</li></ul></div> 
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:<div><ul><li>
Medical Assistant (MA) certification preferred</li><li>
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred</li><li>
Certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator (e.g., CCRC) or a willingness to obtain certification preferred</li></ul></div>
