Responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of all shows in their respective area, the National Operations Manager represents Alliance with a superior level of integrity, efficiency, and commitment to providing the highest level of customer service while maintaining profitability and solid relationships. This person will be a reliable leader and knowledgeable business partner and demonstrates confidence and effectiveness in taking ownership of critical relationships and business goals.</p>
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</b></h4><ul><li>
Collaborate internally and with venues and clients to plan and manage install and dismantle activities</li><li>
Participate in show planning and other operational activities to ensure successful execution of job requirements; manage labor and job assignments to ensure alignment with preshow estimates</li><li>
Maintain a broad understanding of venue and show site operations, union requirements, and competitor rates, strengths, weaknesses, skills, and abilities</li></ul><p>
P&amp;L management and reporting for city operations; ensure budgeted profitability goals are met</p>
<ul><li>
Attend client planning meetings as needed and assist with site surveys</li><li>
Maintain productive working relationship with local unions and union leadership; assist with contract negotiations, grievances, labor agreement adherence and interpretation</li><li>
Lead and develop a highperforming team; provide annual reviews and avenues of growth for office staff</li><li>
Identify and develop relationships with local businesses and community organizations to identify key resources and a strong pipeline of talent</li><li>
Act as a liaison to clients and sales team members to ensure efficient use of available resources</li><li>
Ensure adherence to safety protocols on all job sites; Manage worker&rsquo;s compensation risk and maintain gross margin</li><li>
Determine space requirements in relation to staff, storage, and revenues; negotiate all contracts for office and warehouse facilities, including lease contracts for building and vehicles</li><li>
Assume responsibility for all financial transactions and reconciliations involving local company checking accounts; maintain communication with corporate Accounts Payable</li><li>
Service satellite cities in a profitable manner; research and establish labor resources</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Education &amp; Experience:</b></h4><ul><li>
2+ years of job experience in operations management roles with business planning and execution experience; P&amp;L responsible roles preferred.</li><li>
2+ years labor management or trade show industry experience preferred</li><li>
Project management experience is a plus</li><li>
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities requiring attention to detail while ensuring high quality service delivery</li><li>
Expert time management and organizational skills with ability to handle large or complex projects simultaneously</li><li>
Capable of working independently; selfmotivated and results driven</li><li>
Able to analyze complex problems, exercise sound judgment, and appropriately manage conflict</li><li>
Ability to analyze and apply data to business strategy and goals; financial acumen is a must</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to charismatically manage crossfunctional relationships within the organization; strong customer service orientation</li><li>
Ability to work long hours and travel as needed.</li><li>
Proficient in Excel and Word.</li><li>
BiLingual is preferred, but not required.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
