Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Plant Foreman to lead our steel manufacturing facility located in McGregor, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, from raw material handling to final product assembly. The Plant Foreman will ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Lead, train, and mentor a team of welders, machine operators, material handlers and industrial painters. Assign daily tasks and ensure production schedules are met. Conduct performance reviews, manage staffing, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.</li>
<li>Monitor and optimize production workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize waste. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.</li>
<li>Implement and maintain strict quality control standards. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet engineering specifications and customer requirements.</li>
<li>Champion a culture of safety. Enforce all company and OSHA safety regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure a clean and organized work environment.</li>
<li>Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment and machinery are in good working order.</li>
<li>Monitor raw material inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure a steady supply of materials.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate production records, including daily output, quality checks, and maintenance logs.</li>
<li>Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and government regulations (e.g., OSHA standards).</li>
<li>Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.</li>
<li>Promptly report any accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, or potential hazards.</li>
<li>Actively participate in all mandatory safety training, drills, and development programs to improve skills and knowledge.</li>
<li>Work cooperatively with team members to achieve production goals and departmental objectives.</li>
<li>Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.</li>
<li>Monitor own work to ensure it meets quality specifications.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with at least 5 years in a steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing setting.</li>
<li>Education: A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience 
</li><li>Strong knowledge of welding, fabrication, and assembly processes.</li>
<li>Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, including saws, welders, presses, and cranes.</li>
<li>Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.</li>
<li>Ability to read, write, and understand basic English/Spanish to interpret/follow safety guidelines and work instructions.</li>
<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.</li>
<li>Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to [e.g., 50 pounds] regularly.</li>
<li>Ability to work in various environmental conditions common to a manufacturing facility (e.g., varying temperatures, noise levels, potential for dust/debris, wet floors).</li>
<li>Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating equipment and handling supplies.</li>
</ul>
Work Schedule:
<ul>
<li>Standard day shift, 8:00am &ndash; 5:00pm, Monday-Friday, with flexibility to support production needs.</li>
<li>Depending on production needs, some weekend work may be required.</li>
</ul>

Job Summary:

The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall operations of our steel manufacturing facility located in McGregor, TX. This includes overseeing production, maintenance, quality control, safety, and personnel management. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record of optimizing plant performance, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Manage and direct all plant operations, including production, logistics, maintenance, and quality control. Develop and execute strategies to optimize productivity and meet production targets.</li>
<li>Develop, manage, and monitor the plant&rsquo;s budget. Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards.</li>
<li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and employees. Conduct performance reviews, manage staffing, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.</li>
<li>Implement and champion continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance.</li>
<li>Oversee the quality control process to ensure all products meet engineering specifications and industry standards, such as those from the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and the American Welding Society (AWS).</li>
<li>Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all machinery, including welders, saws, and cranes, is well-maintained and operating at peak performance.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact between plant operations and senior management. Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), production output, and financial performance.</li>
<li>Champion a strong safety culture and ensure strict adherence to all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental standards. Lead safety initiatives and conduct regular audits.</li>
<li>Work cooperatively with team members to achieve production goals and departmental objectives.</li>
<li>Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.</li>

Qualifications:

<li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Construction, or a related field required (or equivalent amount ((8-10 years)) of experience); a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a leadership or management role within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with at least 3 years in a steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing setting.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of welding, fabrication, and assembly processes.</li>
<li>Deep knowledge of steel manufacturing processes, equipment, and industry standards.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.</li>
<li>Proven experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).</li>
