Job Description</h2>
Allied Universal&reg; Event Services is hiring a Logistics Manager for the Southern CA region. Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring the branch's equipment needs are met. Ensures there are enough uniforms, tools, and equipment readily available for each event. Keeps all equipment in clean, working order, and works diligently to maintain a clean work area (equipment room and van). The job purpose of Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the business relationship between our clients and third-party logistics providers. Often this position will also work to conduct and supervise logistics support team members at major events. 
The salary for this position is $70,304 a year plus an auto allowance of $135 per pay period. 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:
<ul><li>Manages the supply of logistics-related to the events to support the client and team members in the day-to-day general areas of uniform supply, configuration management, technical requirements identification, installation and maintenance of equipment, safety and documentation development and maintenance.
</li><li>Investigates potential risk and other matters of significance and provides and implements solutions.</li><li>Consults with the respective areas within the branch to understand the distribution networks and determines the logistics resources required to support equipment, safety, personnel and maintenance and order equipment appropriately.
</li><li>Negotiates with supply sources/vendors to meet technical requirements.</li><li>Directly supervises material storage and distribution, maintaining an accurate inventory count on a monthly basis to prevent lost equipment, and transportation of deliverance of equipment.
</li><li>Provides overall guidance and ensures effective execution of logistics support within the filed as well.</li><li>Must be capable of effectively leading and managing a highly functionally diverse branch utilizing a wide span of control.</li><li>Ensures effective management of Logistics Operations assigned radio equipment based on approval of each event that is required to support day-to-day operational requirements.
</li><li>Root cause analysis and problem resolution for all logistics operations.</li><li>Ensures equipment is properly tagged and logged for tracking.</li><li>Attends staff meetings/close out meetings and training sessions</li><li>Submits/Approves Vendors invoices for A/P to process.</li><li>Drive company vehicle to transport equipment to the various work sites.</li><li>Performs other duties and assignments as required but limited too.</li></ul>

Must have proven ability to maintain correspondence, discussions and materials in strictest confidence. Must be able to work overtime as needed.</li><li>Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required.
</li><li>Must maintain a valid CA Guard Card.</li></ul></div>
<ul><li>Must always maintain a valid driver's license and remain insurable under our company driving requirments. Must inform the company of any moving traffic violations or accidents within 12 hours.</li></ul>

Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.</li>
<li>Allow appropriate entry into each venue, may collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic coming in and out of the venue.</li>

Job Description</h2>
Allied Universal&reg; is hiring a Operations Support Specialist. The Operational Support Specialist is responsible for providing branch-level recruiting, new hire onboarding functions, licensing, scheduling, and logistics support. 
They pay for this position is $27/hr 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Assist with logistics including ordering, cleaning, and distribution of equipment and uniforms</li>
<li>Maintain an accurate inventory count to prevent lost equipment, and transportation of deliverance of equipment</li>
<li>Ensure equipment is properly tagged and logged for tracking</li>
<li>Conduct New Employee Orientation sessions</li>
<li>Administer and track compliance of any state required license training utilizing WinTeam compliance and ABI skill codes</li>
<li>Distribute and collect union cards (in applicable locations)</li>
<li>Ensure completion of post-employment offer forms/activity (e.g., new hire onboarding paperwork)</li>
<li>Instruction of basic pre-assignment training lessons and ongoing training including compliance tracking, reporting, and filing</li>
<li>Work closely with Regional Recruitment Manager to evaluate hiring needs and ensure recruiting activities support for branch hiring needs</li>
<li>Utilize iCIMS recruiting software to process new applicants</li>
<li>Schedule and interview prospective employees</li>
<li>Schedule and maintain an orientation schedule</li>
<li>Attend periodic relevant recruitment activities, such as job fairs, recruitment programs, etc. with Regional Recruiter on an as-needed basis</li>
<li>Print badges for new hire employees</li>
<li>Coordinate with Payroll to ensure changes are completed properly; respond to questions as needed</li>
<li>Assist with various administrative duties as assigned by the Branch management team, Recruiting and Human Resources, or Regional Vice President</li>
<li>Coordinate with the Branch Manager the staffing needs for all upcoming events; utilizing work order forms for accuracy</li>
<li>Schedule and confirm appropriate supervision and team members for each individual event; practice, promote, and ensure &ldquo;Smart Scheduling&quot; using ABI system</li><li><ul><li>
Ensure each position/event is scheduled with the &ldquo;right person&quot; not just any employee. NEVER schedules an unlicensed employee for a security position</li>
<li>Immediate communicates with the Branch Manager any concerns such as: shortages, failure to schedule, personnel concerns, etc.</li></ul></li><li>
Capably utilize ABI for scheduling and to produce reports</li>
<li>Meet all contractual scheduled hours for event/site assigned to the Account Manager/Branch Manager</li>
<li>Schedule employees to work at the events/sites where openings exist</li>
<li>Assist with building job orders into scheduling systems, ABI and WinTeam</li>
<li>Support orientation and training of new employees on scheduling procedures</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Minimum of one (1) year of administrative, human resources, employee onboarding, and/or classroom instructor experience</li>
<li>Prior work experience in a fast-paced administrative environment</li>
<li>Work history must include:</li><li><ul><li>

<li>Prior human resources, recruiting, scheduling or logistics experience in a service industry business</li>
<li>Work experience conducting applicant sourcing, interviewing job applicants, and conducting employee onboarding in a high volume setting</li></ul>
