The Janitor position is responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned area inside a particular building or multiple client sites. Exact tasks of janitorial crew are not definite, consequently, must be flexible in performing assigned duties per client's specifications.

Wage is $17.25 / hour<ul><li>
Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&amp;D, and disability insurance</li>
<li>Enrollment in our company's 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirements</li>
<li>Six paid holidays annually, five sick days</li>
<li>Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 40 hours after 6 months of service. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.</li></ul> 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:<ul><li>
Empty and clean all waste container. Remove waste paper and garbage from the premises to selected area; damp wipe containers.</li>
<li>Empty and clean all ash trays, monitor all sand urns supply and restore sand as required.</li>
<li>Dust all image frames, charts, graphs and wall hangings</li>
<li>Damp dust all ceiling and air condition diffusers, partition grilles, register and other ventilating louvers</li>
<li>Vacuum all mats and carpeted areas in workplace, lobbies, and corridors.</li>
<li>Hand dust and clean all office furnishings, files, fixtures, paneling, window sills and all other flat surfaces</li>
<li>Wipe clean and buff all mental hardware fixtures and added bright work</li>
<li>Appropriately clean and police tile floor services as required.</li>
<li>Damp wipe and buff all glass furnishings</li>
<li>Clean entry door glass indoors and outer surface</li>
<li>Remove all stains from vertical surfaces such as doors, door frames, and around light switches, private entry glass and dividers</li>
<li>Wash, clean and sterilize all water coolers</li>
<li>Sweep private stairways, and vacuum if carpeted</li>
<li>Clean building floors, by sweeping and mopping</li>
<li>Clean and sanitize, and restock supplies in bathrooms</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or experience required. Must be able to follow written and oral directions</li>

Allied Universal Janitorial Services is seeking the position of Janitor. 
As a Janitor for Allied Universal Janitorial Services, you will be responsible for cleaning and servicing our client's property to keep it in the best shape possible. You will also assist patrons or customers in a friendly and engaging manner when requested to do so. 
Qualifications/Requirements
<ul><li>Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent for full time positions.</li>
<li>Certain positions may require successful completion of a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.</li>
<li>Effective communication skills with customer, patrons, and employees- assisting others in a friendly and engaging manner at all times.</li><li>
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.</li></ul><ul><li>
Strong attention to detail and reliability on completing tasks that can be repetitive.</li>
<li>Able to:</li><li><ul><li>
Work in various working conditions and environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat for extended periods.</li>
<li>Ability to operate various cleaning equipment and machinery including scrubbers, pressure washer, and carpet extractor.</li>
<li>Ability to climb ladders, stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.</li>
<li>Ability to lift and carry items and/or machinery up to 50 pounds.</li>
<li>Ability to grab, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, and operate equipment frequently and repetitively during working hours.</li></ul></li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
