Job Description</h2>
What to expect as a Commercial Security Installation Technician III:
<ul><li>Assist the Project Manager regarding on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipment</li>
<li>Responsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment, and security software installation<ul><li>
Install, program and configure commercial electronic security systems for enterprise commercial clients (door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, ect.)</li></ul></li>
<li>Troubleshoot new installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and satisfy codes</li>
<li>Demonstrate Allied Universal's core values as a highly skilled leader on the Installation Team</li>
<li>Supervise several teams comprised of Security Installation Technician I's and II's</li>
<li>Manage several medium- to large-sized jobs simultaneously, doing so within approved hours and margin tolerances</li>
<li>Drive to client sites with a company-issued vehicle to perform the system installation and confirm the system is operating effectively and meets contract requirements</li>
<li>Installation of electrical wiring, panels, cables, and security devices</li>
<li>Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned by manager</li></ul>
What knowledge and skills are required:
<ul><li>A high school diploma or equivalent is required</li>
<li>Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the physical security, fire alarm or low voltage communication industry installing field devices, programming systems, and running medium- to large-sized jobs, are required</li>
<li>Experience with any or all of the following is preferred: Software House, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacq, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh or ONSSI</li>
<li>Possess or have the ability to obtain proper state licensing once hired (Low Voltage D license, Alarm Installer Lic. etc.)</li>
<li>Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-based environment with minimum direction</li>
<li>Good communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external customers</li>
<li>Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude</li>
<li>Ability to be on-call on a rotational basis
</li><li>Must be detail-oriented and organized</li>
<li>Must possess a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.</li>
<li>Ability to complete time entry from home on a daily basis via the Internet</li>
<li>Ability to deliver product familiarization training to end-users</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Project)</li>
<li>Ability and track record of successfully loading servers with third-party applications and deploying IP video solutions</li>
<li>Possess general working knowledge of network architecture
</li><li>Overnight travel may be required on an as-need basis</li></ul>

Job Description</h2>
Allied Universal is looking to hire a Security Intervention Specialist. The primary function of the Security Intervention Specialist is to monitor surveillance cameras and alarm monitoring systems, respond to event-driven alarms in a timely and effective manner, and document any activity and contact support systems in the event of an emergency. This is a 24/7 call center environment that requires individuals to sit for long periods of time. This is a full time role that is required to be in office 100% of the time. 
Pay: $18.00 per hour 
Shifts Available
<ul><li>1st Shift (7am - 3pm)</li>
<li>2nd Shift (3pm-11pm)</li>
<li>3rd Shift (11pm - 7am)</li></ul> 

Mandatory Paid Training Schedule:
<ul><li>Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm for the first two weeks</li></ul> 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position.<ul><li>
High customer service acumen in a call center environment</li>
<li>Can effectively communicate over the phone and email</li>
<li>Basic level of monitoring customer's cameras and alarm systems remotely</li>
<li>Effectively respond to event-driven alarms in a timely matter via telephone and/or email communication based on the client's specific protocol</li>
<li>Conduct virtual escorts daily as deemed timely by the contract specifications</li>
<li>Conduct virtual patrols of the assigned client's property</li>
<li>Complete hourly call-ins</li>
<li>Handling camera maintenance checks</li>
<li>Handle site incidents</li>
<li>Complete incident reports</li>
<li>Complete event reports</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
A High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Must be able to obtain a TOPS alarm system monitoring license during our paid on the job training</li>
<li>Minimum of one year in a dispatching, security, customer service, or call center role</li>
<li>Must be able to work overtime as needed</li>
<li>Must be able to effectively verbally communicate to direct, control, and/or assist in the event of a crisis.</li>
<li>Proficient in the basics of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul><li>Minimum of two years' experience controlling cameras</li>
<li>Minimum of two years experience in law enforcement, security or the military</li>
<li>Demonstrated the ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments, and effectively manage deadlines. Must be highly organized and able to keep executive on track with required information available at all times</li></ul>
