Job Description</h2>
Allied Universal&reg; is hiring a Solutions Architect II. The Solutions Architect II works independently on system design, proposals, estimating, planning and supporting the achievement of meeting sales goals. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Conduct site walkthroughs with client and sales understanding the need</li>
<li>Develop technical solutions that map customer business requirements to security technology solutions</li>
<li>Generation of technical scopes of work (SOW) and detailed design narratives for technical solutions and associated cost estimates</li>
<li>Manage estimation process to include interfacing with multiple representatives of sales, management, and customer teams</li>
<li>Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and technical/functional design specifications to prepare compliant solutions</li>
<li>Research emerging technologies in support of security integration solutions</li>
<li>Interface with product and distribution partners to obtain systems, device, and equipment pricing during estimating process</li>
<li>Support Sales Team by participating in technical discussions and meetings with customers and/or product partners, to include
</li></ul>ROI (Return on Investment) conversations and presentations<ul><li>
Understanding construction divisions, as they relate to Electronics -Safety and Security for RFP responses</li>
<li>Maintain quality assurance by following organization and department standards</li></ul> 

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE): 
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Experience working with access control and video systems</li>
<li>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment</li>
<li>Must possess one or more of the following:</li><li><ul><li>
Minimum of three (3) years of experience with integrated electronic security solutions</li>
<li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a pre-sales support/engineering position</li></ul></li><li>
Working knowledge of network Infrastructure Including switches, routers, IP configuration</li>
<li>Knowledge of advanced Video analytics</li>
<li>Knowledge of Software as a Service (SAAS) and Cloud based security solutions</li>
<li>Ability to work in a dynamic environment; capable of managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written and communication skills internally and with stakeholders</li>
<li>Ability to maintain proprietary information with high level of discretion</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Word)</li>
<li>Ability to travel (20%-30%) on an as needed basis</li>
<li>Skilled in utilizing a PDF editing software, creation tools such as Bluebeam for device plotting, and team collaboration</li></ul> 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE): 
<ul><li>Project Management (PMP) certification</li>
<li>Any of the following:</li><li><ul><li>
Physical Security Professional (PSP)</li>
<li>Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)</li>

Allied Universal&reg; is hiring a Solutions Architect. The Solutions Architect supports the achievement of sales goals through direct pre-sales support providing high quality, innovative, cost-effective technical solutions that meet or exceed our customer's needs in a professional manner. The Solutions Architect will mentor junior Architects within the department. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Allied Universal&reg; Technology Services is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, organization, direction, and oversight of large construction project activities related to electronic security system installations. Key responsibilities of the project manager include managing project schedules, overseeing field installations, coordinating commissioning and quality assurance processes, and overall financial performance. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage a diverse portfolio of construction projects, through strong communication, strategic planning, and effective project execution. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Plan and manage construction or enterprise level projects to optimize resource allocation, scheduling, and timely execution within budget</li>
<li>Monitor and control project budgets, including full P&amp;L responsibility, collection efforts and accurate invoicing through ERP systems</li>
<li>Supervise installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality work on large and complex systems.</li>
<li>Maintain timely and strategic communication with vendors, customers, and internal teams to align efforts with business goals</li>
<li>Implement change orders and adapt installation and pricing plans as needed.</li>
<li>Plan and schedules engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities on large and/or complex systems</li>
<li>Identify, troubleshoot and resolve project issues using financial, contractual, and operational tools to maintain profitability, engaging leadership as needed</li>
<li>Develop contingency plans and proactively manage risks to ensure project success.</li>
<li>Maintain construction schedules and coordinates task-scheduling with other trades</li>
<li>Ensure accurate records of job status, job changes and material flow throughout the project</li>
<li>Conduct site walks and attend onsite customer meeting</li></ul> 

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE): 
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Current driver's license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle in the course of conducting business (e.g., client visits, attending networking events)</li>
<li>Minimum of three (3) years of construction project management or enterprise level experience</li>
<li>Minimum of two (2) years of electronic security, fire alarm, AV systems, or building automation</li>
<li>Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint)</li>
<li>Leadership skills with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, as well as manage delivery timeframes</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently and meet deadlines</li></ul> 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
<ul><li>Associate's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field</li>
<li>Solid knowledge of PM techniques and tools, general knowledge of contract laws and regulations</li>
<li>Experience managing multiple projects (portfolio) of at least $1M</li>
<li>Factory certifications in relevant technology platforms is a plus (Software House, Lenel, Brivo, Open Options, Exacq, American Dynamics, Milestone, OnSSI, etc.).</li>
<li>Knowledge of PM Workbench or similar software</li>
<li>Certifications in any of the following PMP, Agile, Waterfall</li></ul>

What to expect as a Master Electrician - Security Installation Technician:
<ul><li>Assist the Project Manager regarding on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipment</li>
<li>Responsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment, and security software installation<ul><li>
Install, program and configure commercial electronic security systems for enterprise commercial clients (door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, ect.)</li></ul></li>
<li>Troubleshoot new installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and satisfy codes</li>
<li>Demonstrate Allied Universal's core values as a highly skilled leader on the Installation Team</li>
<li>Supervise several teams comprised of Security Installation Technician I's and II's</li>
<li>Manage several medium- to large-sized jobs simultaneously, doing so within approved hours and margin tolerances</li>
<li>Drive to client sites with a company-issued vehicle to perform the system installation and confirm the system is operating effectively and meets contract requirements</li>
<li>Installation of electrical wiring, panels, cables, and security devices</li>
<li>Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned by manager</li></ul>
What knowledge and skills are required:
<ul><li>Master electrician is required</li>
<li>A high school diploma or equivalent is required</li>
<li>Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the physical security, fire alarm or low voltage communication industry installing field devices, programming systems, and running medium- to large-sized jobs, are required</li>
<li>Experience with any or all of the following is a plus: Software House, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacq, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh or ONSSI</li>
<li>Possess or have the ability to obtain proper state licensing once hired (Low Voltage D license, Alarm Installer Lic. etc.)</li>
<li>Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-based environment with minimum direction</li>
<li>Good communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external customers</li>
<li>Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude</li>
<li>Ability to be on-call on a rotational basis
</li><li>Must be detail-oriented and organized</li>
<li>Must possess a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.</li>
