 Overview
 
 
 
 We&rsquo;re looking for an Account Coordinator to join Allison&rsquo;s fast-moving, ideas-driven US Communications Practice . This is an entry level position where you&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to learn more about the PR industry and best practices in client service, media relations and content development.
 
 
 Y ou will be responsible for developing curated media lists of reporters that cover client and industry-specific news, issues and announcements, while also conducting regular news monitoring to share trending stories the account team can leverage for clients. You will also develop influencer and media relationships, pitch media to secure press opportunities, track coverage, and support overall account management and administration with weekly meeting agendas, action items and reports.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Participate in team and client calls and provide thorough notes and action items to move deliverables forward every week.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop the first draft of written content (e.g., press release, briefing books, media pitches, bylines).
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and flag client and industry media coverage for the account team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct entry-level media relations with instruction from AE/SAE; pitching news announcements and conducting follow-up via phone and email.
 </li>
 <li>
 Research speaking opportunities, events, and awards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Produce monthly or weekly reports outlining key account activities and initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Learn and become proficient in media tracking, monitoring and data analytics tools such as MuckRack, Critical Mention, Cision and Meltwater.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct new business research to support pitches and presentations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote and uphold Allison&rsquo;s core values; participate in agency-wide training and professional development programs.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Preferred experience as an intern/apprentice in public relations, marketing or a related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Technology Industry interest strongly preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Self-motivated, eager to learn and enthusiastic about the work.
 </li>

 Eye for detail and organization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable and knowledgeable working in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel alongside Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

 Our Senior Data Analysts are storytellers at heart that use insights measure performance, effectiveness, and create digestible recommendations that drive favorable client and business outcomes. They are critical thinkers and highly valuable contributors on the project delivery team. Our senior data analyst work across multiple project work streams, conducting analyses across multiple clients and industry sectors enabling you to leverage learnings from adjacent industries to your advantage. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will manage and analyze complex datasets, create dashboards and visualizations, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making. You will collaborate closely with leadership and external partners to measure program effectiveness and optimize initiatives.  Frame questions, pull/clean data, run analyses, and translate findings into clear narratives and recommendations

 Support the project manager with client delivery as a subject matter expert

 Support measurement, learning, and evaluation frameworks by tracking key metrics and reporting on program impact

 Analyze large project specific datasets to ensure accuracy, integrity, and usability

 5+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, data analytics, strategic consulting or similarly analytical roles
 </li>
 <li>
 4+ years of experience with media measurement, media monitoring, or text based analytics
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced knowledge of key data metrics from volume, velocity, emotion, reputation, and sentiment
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Data Analysis, MIS, Business, or a related field is preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced knowledge of text analytics and social listening tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and willing to learn new tools quickly
 </li>
 <li>
 The power to take initiative, communicate across teams, and solve problems creatively, both in teams and individually
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have exceptional attention to detail and thrives in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds.

 Familiarity with accessing and extracting data from various repositories from: Amazon, S3, Google BigQuery, or SQL-based transforms
