<br><div><div><div><div><div><div><p>The Waterproofing and Restoration Supervisor performs a crucial role in the restoration and preservation of various building structures. We are looking for a <b>hands-on Waterproofing and Restoration Supervisor</b> to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills and leadership experience who enjoys being actively involved in the work&mdash;not just overseeing it.</p>
<p><b>
Waterproofing and Restoration Supervisor</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Overseeing crews on various projects while working alongside them, assigning tasks, and providing training.</li>
<li>Coordinate waterproofing and restoration projects, including but not limited to building repairs.</li>
<li>Ensure that restoration work meets quality standards and specifications. Conduct inspections to identify issues and address them promptly.</li>
<li>Responsible for taking the materials, tools, and equipment necessary for waterproofing and restoration activities to the jobsites. Coordinate with Operations Manager and ensure proper utilization.</li>
<li>Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to coordinate work schedules, address concerns, and provide progress updates. Maintain open communication channels to facilitate effective teamwork.</li>
<li>Liaising with company Safety Manager to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations. Enforce safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.</li>
<li>Overall site safety, conflict management and resolution.</li>
<li>Problem solving at jobsite/office: identify and resolve issues related to building assemblies, equipment malfunction, or crew relationship. Implement preventative maintenance measures.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing restoration and maintenance activities. Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend improvements as needed.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Waterproofing and Restoration Technician</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct building inspections, record damages and repairs with photos &amp; prepare reports.</li>
<li>Leak investigations and exterior sealant repairs.</li>
<li>Building envelope restoration.</li>
<li>Complete exterior sealant repairs, and exterior painting.</li>
<li>Set up boom lift, swing stage and scaffold.</li>
<li>Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.</li>
<li>Restore exterior concrete, stucco, and tile cladding systems.</li>
<li>Operate power tools.</li>
<li>Remove debris at construction sites.</li>
<li>Other repairs and replace construction materials.</li>
<li>Follow established safety rules and instructions.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Customer Service and Administration</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Communicate respectfully and effectively with co-workers, customers, and building managers.</li>
<li>Complete paperwork at the beginning of each job.</li>
<li>Inspect and maintain personal gear.</li>
<li>Ensure work area is always neat and tidy.</li>
<li>Ensure use of control zones.</li>
<li>Participating in operations and safety meetings.</li>
<li>Ad Hoc exterior maintenance duties.</li>
</ul>
<p>Other duties as requested.</p>
<p><b>
Education and Work Experience:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Safety Training and adherence to WorkSafe BC requirements.</li>
<li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of experience in waterproofing, concrete restoration, or a related trade.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of sealants, coatings, membranes, and repair systems.</li>
<li>Previous leadership or supervisory experience in construction or restoration environments.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li>
<li>Be capable of functioning in outdoor environment.</li>
<li>Demonstrated organizational skills to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to staff.</li>
<li>Criminal record check will be required.</li>
</ul>
<p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p>

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour</p>
