Position Schedule:<ul><li>June 29, 2026 - August 5, 2026 (6 Week Program)*</li><li>Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays (1:15pm-3:15pm) at The West Village Academy (3530 Westwood St, Dearborn, MI 48124).</li></ul>2 hours per day onsite at The West Village Academy (Dearborn)Office: 248-536-2140Position SummaryFor Summer 2026, Ally Learning LLC is seeking qualified candidates to fill the Summer Enrichment Instructor positions for the Crafty Kids (Grades 1-2), STEM Explorers (Grades 1-2) Programs. The Programs start on June 29, 2026 and will take place Monday-Wednesday and will conclude August 5, 2026.ResponsibilitiesThe Summer Enrichment Program Instructor position, under the supervision of the Executive Director, will:<ul><li>Maintain effective communication with the Ally Learning Executive Director and school personnel at the assigned site.</li><li>Follow the direction of the Ally Learning Executive Director &amp; other administrative staff, and adhere to program requirements.</li><li>Prepare for activities in advance (all curriculum and materials will be provided).</li><li>Follow curriculum instructions and facilitate small groups of students.</li><li>Establish a good rapport with students and school staff.</li><li>Provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in students.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>II. Qualifications &amp; Competencies<ul><li>At least 1 year of college education</li><li>Mastery in primary K-8 STEM Subjects</li><li>At least 1 year experience in tutoring/teaching</li><li>Must have previous experience working with elementary grade students</li><li>Must have patience, a positive attitude, and willingness to work with and mentor youth</li><li>Ability to express good judgment in the role of mentor</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with students both verbally and in writing</li><li>Ability to connect with others and forge strong relationships</li><li>Good time management and organizational skills</li><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License</li><li>Able to lift/ move objects &amp; boxes up to 10lbs</li><li>Pass required background checks</li><li>Demonstrate preparation and skill in working with students from diverse cultural, economic, and ability backgrounds</li><li>Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology.</li></ul>III.
