Job SummaryThe Laundry Supervisor is responsible for managing all laundry operations within a luxury spa environment, ensuring that towels, robes, linens, and uniforms are cleaned to 5-star hygiene standards. The role focuses heavily on oil stain removal, hygiene control, and presentation, which are critical in spa operations.They supervise staff, maintain efficiency, and ensure all laundry is delivered on time and in perfect condition.Key Responsibilities1. Spa Laundry Operations<ul><li>Oversee washing, drying, ironing, and folding of:</li><li>Spa towels</li><li>Bathrobes</li><li>Bed sheets</li><li>Therapist uniforms</li><li>Ensure removal of oil, cream, and massage product stains</li><li>Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards (very critical for spa)</li></ul>2. Quality Control (Luxury Standard)<ul><li>Inspect all items before delivery to spa</li><li>Reject and rewash items with:</li><li>Oil stains</li><li>Odors</li><li>Discoloration</li><li>Ensure towels remain soft, white, and fresh-smelling</li></ul>3. Staff Management<ul><li>Supervise laundry attendants (2&ndash;6 staff depending on spa size)</li><li>Train staff on:</li><li>Proper stain removal techniques</li><li>Machine use</li><li>Chemical handling</li><li>Prepare duty schedules and manage shifts</li></ul>4. Inventory Control<ul><li>Monitor linen usage (very important in spa business)</li><li>Track:</li><li>Towels per day</li><li>Losses / damages</li><li>Control stock of:</li><li>Detergents</li><li>Chemicals</li><li>Fabric softeners</li></ul>5. Machine &amp; Equipment Management<ul><li>Operate and monitor laundry machines</li><li>Report breakdowns immediately</li><li>Coordinate with maintenance team</li></ul>6. Hygiene &amp; Safety<ul><li>Ensure proper use of laundry chemicals</li><li>Follow Qatar health and safety standards</li><li>Maintain clean and organized laundry area</li></ul>7. Coordination with Spa Team<ul><li>Ensure constant availability of clean towels during peak hours</li><li>Communicate with reception and therapists</li><li>Handle urgent requests (VIP clients, peak time)</li></ul>8. Reporting &amp; Cost Control<ul><li>Daily report:</li><li>Number of loads</li><li>Damaged items</li><li>Chemical usage</li><li>Control laundry cost per towel / per client</li></ul>RequirementsExperience<ul><li>2&ndash;5 years in:</li><li>Spa / hotel laundry</li><li>Hospitality industry</li><li>Experience with oil stain removal (massage oils) is a MUST</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong leadership</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Knowledge of laundry chemicals</li><li>Ability to handle high workload during peak hours</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,500.00 per monthWork Location: In person
