 About the Role
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Work Mode: Night Shift (7pm to 4 am)
 
 
 
 
 
 What a typical day looks like:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Handle a team of 80+ Buyers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work on shortage management with buyers, provide assistance in resolving Accounts Payable, warehouse and RTV challenges, follow up to ensure PO&rsquo;s are placed on time, there are no past due orders, work on POAN action items.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure there are no Production line-down situations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform Quarterly / Annual performance appraisals for the team members.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure timely generation and circulation of reports/dashboards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Mentor the team and guide them towards effective discharge of functions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle escalations if any and escalate matters requiring the senior management&rsquo;s attention on a timely basis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Train new and existing team members on an ongoing basis on relevant tools or topics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive Process improvements and have a succession plan in place for all critical resources.
 </li>
 <li>
 Be Back-up to Operational Regional Directors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure detailed process documentation in place for training new employees coming onboard.
 </li>
 <li>
 Schedule regular calls with Suppliers and drive supplier performance improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure ZERO non-compliance during Statutory audits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive voice of customer improvement themes in alignment with Customer feedback.
 </li>
 <li>
 Align and Drive productivity targets for the Team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with GBS Management for Internal Customers&rsquo; visit.
 </li>
 <li>
 Give presentations to the Top Management w.r.t the Business and drive QBR reviews with Sites.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive Standardization of reports and processes across Teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Consolidated, Automate and Eliminate reports and processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure participation in BCP drill and work on continues improvement of BCP plan.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive employee engagement and communication programs (quarterly one to one meeting with each employee, skip level meetings, etc.).
 </li>

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Typically requires a bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience and extensive knowledge of purchasing policies and practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Typically requires a minimum of 12+ years of related experience. Master&rsquo;s degree preferred.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Required Skills
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Mandatory Knowledge of computer software applications, MS Excel, Word &amp; PowerPoint (PF).
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in the following domains: Order processing, Supply chain management, Order management, Procurement end to end preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of ERP (Preferably BAAN).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in Manufacturing industry preferably in electronics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good analytical skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Flexible to work in night shifts.
 </li>
