This position is instrumental in driving the monthly close process, maintaining effective internal controls, and supporting the continued financial success of Audi Great Neck.The ideal candidate is a hands-on financial leader with extensive accounting expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.If you are a motivated automotive finance professional looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact with Audi Great Neck, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Support and coordinate the monthly 5-day financial close</li><li>Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger activity</li><li>Supervise accounting staff, including AP, AR, payroll, deal billing, and title clerks</li><li>Oversee deal processing accuracy and DMV/title compliance</li><li>Monitor vendor payments, receivables, and aging schedules</li><li>Assist with inventory reconciliations and fixed asset tracking</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP standards, and company policies</li><li>Support audit preparation and operational improvements</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Extensive knowledge of GAAP and dealership accounting practices</li><li>Experience supervising accounting or administrative staff</li><li>High attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Proficiency with DMS systems and Microsoft Excel</li><li>Exceptional communication and time management abilities</li></ul>Performance Expectations<ul><li>Complete month-end close within 5 business days</li><li>Maintain accurate reconciliations and financial records</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate deal posting and title processing</li><li>Support efficient departmental operations and compliance standards</li></ul>Pay: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Automotive Accounting: 5 years (Required)</li><li>Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Required)</li><li>CDK: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Supervising: 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Great Neck, NY 11021 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
