As we continue strengthening our internal Human Resources operations, we're bringing our benefits administration fully in-house, and we're looking for a Benefits Administrator who is ready to take ownership of that transformation.

In this role, you'll oversee all facets of employee benefits, from daily administration to long-term strategic improvements. You'll serve as a trusted resource for employees, a thoughtful partner to leadership, and a champion for wellbeing across our workforce. What You Will Do

Benefits Management &amp; Strategy
<ul>
<li>Lead the transition of all employee benefits programs to an in-house model by developing efficient, scalable processes.</li>
<li>Manage daily administration of medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and voluntary benefits.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate support.</li>
<li>Oversee end-to-end benefits operations, including open enrollment, yearly renewals, vendor management, and employee education.</li>
<li>Maintain compliance with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and Hawaii-specific regulations.</li>
<li>Track benefit utilization and cost trends, gathering employee feedback to support continuous program improvement.</li>
<li>Build and maintain relationships with carriers and providers, negotiate contracts, and evaluate service performance.</li>
<li>Support leave of absence (LOA) and accommodation processes in partnership with Employee Relations.</li>
</ul>
Systems, Scaling &amp; Enablement
<ul>
<li>Improve workflows between HRIS, benefits platforms, and Finance to enhance accuracy and efficiency.</li>
<li>Evaluate and assist in implementing scalable tools that support benefits administration and employee self-service.</li>
<li>Create reporting and dashboards to measure program performance and identify areas for improvement.</li>
</ul>
What You Bring
<ul>
<li>3&ndash;5+ years of experience in benefits administration or total rewards with a benefits focus.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of federal and Hawaii-specific benefits compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Proven experience managing vendors, open enrollment cycles, and benefits education.</li>
<li>A strong employee-service mindset with the ability to provide empathetic, solution-oriented support.</li>
<li>Experience using HRIS and benefits platforms; strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.</li>
<li>High degree of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.</li>
