What You'll Do</b></h2>
<p>
As a Welder, you'll repair, fabricate, and maintain metal components that support Alpha's heavy construction equipment fleet and infrastructure work across Hawaiʻi.</p>
<p>
Your work ensures the structural integrity and reliability of machines used in demanding field environments.</p>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Field &amp; Shop Welding</b></h3>
<ul>
<li><p>Perform welding repairs and fabrication for heavy construction equipment and structural components.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Travel to job sites as needed to support equipment repairs and operational needs.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Cut, join, and repair metal components on equipment, rigs, piping, and related systems.</p>
</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Equipment &amp; Tool Operation</b></h3>
<ul>
<li><p>Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment, grinders, clamps, saws, and measuring tools.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Maintain and inspect welding tools to ensure safe and reliable operation.</p>
</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Precision &amp; Quality</b></h3>
<ul>
<li><p>Read blueprints and measurements to determine welding layout and procedures.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure strength, durability, and quality standards.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Perform welds in <b>flat, vertical, and overhead positions</b> depending on equipment configuration.</p>
</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Safety &amp; Accountability</b></h3>

<li><p>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Follow all company and industry safety protocols.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Submit accurate time and equipment usage reports.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Support additional tasks and equipment repairs as needed to keep operations running smoothly.</p>

Experience</b></h3>
<ul>
<li><p>Minimum <b>3 years of welding experience</b> required.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Experience working with heavy equipment or industrial applications strongly preferred.</p>
</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Technical Skills</b></h3>
<ul>
<li><p>Strong knowledge of welding equipment, materials, and metal properties.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements preferred.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Welding certification from an accredited institution preferred.</p>
</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Physical &amp; Work Environment</b></h3>
<ul>
<li><p>Ability to lift and carry <b>up to 50 lbs</b>.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Comfortable working around and under heavy machinery.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Able to work in varying physical environments including field job sites.</p>
