 Role Summary:
 
 
 
 The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be the strategic and executional lead for a full-scale digital transformation within a government services organization. The role is designed to modernize internal operations, reduce manual workloads, and integrate emerging technologies to improve service delivery. By leveraging AI, data analytics, and IoT/OT integration, the CTO will support the development of faster, cost-effective, and citizen-centric public services.

 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Strategy &amp; Leadership:
 
 
 
 &bull;Develop and execute technology strategy aligned with corporate vision and objectives.
 
 
 &bull;Contribute to short- and long-term strategic planning, ensuring alignment with Board directives.
 
 
 &bull;Build partnerships with stakeholders, vendors, and institutions to advance innovation.
 
 
 &bull;Provide regular reports and insights to the CEO and Board, recommending improvements and addressing challenges.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Financial &amp; Operational Management:
 
 
 
 &bull;Oversee annual budgeting and financial performance of the Technology Division.
 
 
 &bull;Drive operational excellence by improving systems, processes, and practices.
 
 
 &bull;Ensure compliance with risk, audit, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Technology &amp; Innovation:
 
 
 
 &bull;Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, agility, and customer experience.
 
 
 &bull; Oversee ERP systems implementation and integration for streamlined operations.
 
 
 &bull;Conduct technology and market assessments to identify emerging opportunities.
 
 
 &bull;Implement robust cybersecurity measures and manage IT infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and data protection.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 People &amp; Culture:
 
 
 
 &bull;Lead and mentor the technology team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
 
 
 &bull;Oversee talent management activities (performance reviews, training, development).
 
 
 &bull;Promote a culture of innovation and excellence within the division.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Partnerships &amp; Project Delivery:
 
 
 
 &bull;Manage technology projects end-to-end, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery.
 
 
 &bull;Establish partnerships with vendors, consultants, and cybersecurity agencies to strengthen capabilities.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 &bull;Experience: 15-20 years in technology with at least the recent 6 years in senior tech leadership position(s).
 
 
 &bull;Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field. MBA or Master&rsquo;s in Technology Management preferred.
