<div><div>General Overview: The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Loader and other Heavy Equipment. This position operates loaders equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket which is used to transport aggregate or other materials, feed hoppers or chutes, and/or stock pile aggregates.</div><div></div><div>
Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Operate the Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.</li><li>
Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.</li><li>
Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.</li><li>
Operate Loader controls to lower and tilt bucket and drive forward to force bucket into bulk material; Move lever to raise and tilt bucket when filled, or to dump material.</li><li>
Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.</li><li>
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the Loader.</li><li>
Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the Loader.</li><li>
Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.</li><li>
Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.</li><li>
Operate other heavy equipment and perform other related duties as required.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Other Requirements:</div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED required.</li><li>
Possess Class C Driver License</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years&rsquo; experience working operating a Loader is preferred</li></ul><div></div><div>
Mental and Physical Requirements:</div><ul><li>
Able to read, speak and write English.</li><li>
Work performed in a plant environment. Exposure to inclement weather as most work will be performed outside.</li><li>
Regularly required to lift, carry, push, and pull 75 lbs. or more.</li><li>
Frequently required to walk on unleveled ground.</li><li>
Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty striving for excellence in all activities.</li><li>
Dependability, reliability, fulfilling responsibilities.</li><li>
Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and manipulating things.</li><li>
Able to wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection and hard hats when needed.</li><li>
Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the facility</li><li>
Sensitive to confidential information.</li><li>
Must work independently and as a member of a team.</li></ul><div></div><div><i>
