Day-to-day, you&rsquo;ll work closely with teams across the business (Supply Chain, Quality, Operation), ensure troubleshooting during validation and certification runs, and much more. You&rsquo;ll specifically take care of populating relevant failure databases, guaranteeing information flow within the team, and contributing to reliability growth and return of experience.
 
 
 
 Role &amp; Responsibilities :
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Define maintenance plan and design of LSA elements (MTA, LCC etc )
 </li>
 <li>
 Define spare part allocation for first provisional (LAI)
 </li>
 <li>
 Validation of support solution and associated maintenance documentation or training toolkit.
 </li>
 <li>
 Capitalize data in central ISR repository (ILS PDM)
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage LSA team, the workload and size the team accordingly
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage LSA activities to deliver QCD commitments in coordination with the ISR Management plan
 </li>
 <li>
 Write LSA Management plan
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure technical interfaces with RS, Components, Signaling and Infra teams (RAMS Architect, mechanical, electrical &amp; system architect, sourcing, LSA for equipment and from suppliers)
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that DFS is correctly applied on Sub System (Component Site)
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure REX is collected and considered
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage Definition of Logistic Breakdown Structure (LBS) in consistency with Design Engineering BOM definition.
 </li>
 <li>
 Elaborate maintenance plan
 </li>
 <li>
 Elaborate LCC calculations and analysed
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage relationship with sourcing for ISR requirement clauses linked to sourcing concern.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure LSA database (ILS PDM) is defined and completed correctly
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliancy between Spar Part consumption model and maintenance strategy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Validate content of the technical maintenance documentation and training toolkit.
 </li>

 Develop &amp; Monitor Prognostic Health Monitoring (PHM) approach
 </li>

 Develop &amp; Monitor Reliability Centered Maintenance and condition monitoring of the Locomotive to improve LCC.
 </li>

 Set-up part codification for Spare parts needs.
 </li>

 Support in all the test trial during Service
 </li>

 Support PM and CM from MTA, tool availability, spare parts requirement etc
 </li>

 Develop Return of Experience on the Maintenance Engineering activities.

 Support sourcing and develop parts specification to improve performance.
 </li>

 LCC Improvement and follow the actual with the baselines to avoid degradations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow Loco technical design; propose simple solution to improve sub-system reliability and availability.
 </li>

 Assist trouble shooters and PRT for the necessary diagnostic of defective locomotive.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support Helpline and co-ordinate activities to Maintenance sites .

 Main Required competencies :-
 
 
 
 Degree / Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering from a recognized university
 
 
 Proficiency in IT (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Software uploading/downloading)
 
 
 Fluency in English Familiarity with electrical schematics and troubleshooting various systems
 
 
 A certification in a relevant field Degree holder Minimum 4-6 years experience

Product Engineer - Sabarmati Location

 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 Reviews ridership data and determines optimum operating plans and schedules. Prepares detailed operating schedules based on this data, for normal operation as well as special events.
 
 
 Works with Control Centre and Passenger Service personnel to evaluate and modify operating schedules.
 
 
 Prepares detailed operating procedures based on an in-depth knowledge of the automatic train control system.
 
 
 Coordinates the production of revisions to the Rule Book and Operations Manuals.
 
 
 Prepares monthly schedule plans to reflect:

 Develops programs to measure items such as on-time performance, schedule adherence, passenger loading, service reliability, kilometers between service interruptions and any other statistical analysis leading to improved quality of service.
 
 
 Produces notices for the public on any holiday and special service running.
 
 
 Provides statistics on a monthly basis regarding service operations to include any anomalies as well as the rationale behind them.
 
 
 Updates the train schedules as required, including design of schedule patterns, testing of schedule changes, and transmittal of documentation to the Control Centre.
 
 
 Reviews and processes any ATC system anomaly reports received from the Control Centre, analyzing the problem, interpreting or advising as appropriate.
 
 
 Develops a recommended plan for specific contractor action.
 
 
 Provides feedback to the Control Centre through notices and/or updates to the Control Centre manual or ATC constraints list.
 
 
 Analyzes passenger loading to determine optimum train headway scheduling, especially in the peak periods.
 
 
 Ensures the ATC schedule maximizes availability.
 
 
 Calculates daily, weekly and monthly availability and assists in the evaluation of the availability data.
 
 
 Analyze operations reports of operations anomalies.
 
 
 
 Qualifications And Experience
