Job Overview
The Medical Assistant (MA) II functions as an AltaMed ambassador at the assigned clinic, PSC, or Patient Registry team. The MA is welcoming and attentive to the needs of all patients and creates a positive patient experience by managing expectations while demonstrating compassion and respect. The MA assists in the provision of direct patient care by performing routine patient care procedures and technical/clerical support services in the clinical setting. The MA builds relationships with patients, listening to them and gaining their trust. The MA demonstrates compassion and respect and will be proactive in managing patients&rsquo; expectations. In addition, the Medical Assistant documents all specialties in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and assists with administrative responsibilities that include providing feedback on Back-Office processes to the Nursing Supervisor/Manager. Lastly, the MA assists in achieving department goals and objectives by providing support and guidance to the Medical Assistant team as a mentor and trainer. If working at the Patient Service Center, the MA provides other duties over the telephone.
Minimum Requirements

Job Overview
The Front Office Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office team. The Manager works closely and in collaboration with the clinic RN Manager, in partnership with the Clinic Director, the Manager leads by example in meeting the expectations of our patients, internal and external customers, by ensuring the delivery of the highest quality patient experience. With large/multi-clinic oversight, the Manager measures the Front Office team's performance against quality, patient experience, and front office goals, identifying trends and implementing process improvements while maintaining consistent training for front office staff. Lastly, the Manager also maintains the provider templates of a large/multi-site clinic and works closely with Patient Access and Front Office Processing to ensure appropriate access for our patients and provides clinic leadership support in the absence of the Clinic Director.
Minimum Requirements

Job Overview
Responsible for transportation services; receiving incoming/outgoing pick-up calls and scheduling transportation services for the same day. Communicating with PACE centers to coordinate daily transportation for AltaMed patients and participants. Assist with other transportation vendors (e.g., Agape) by facilitating information and back-up service when/if possible. Duties include scheduling, routing, record keeping, and auditing to ensure compliance with AltaMed&rsquo;s policies and procedures. The Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring all drivers are commuting back to base at the end of the day once the assignments are completed. The Dispatcher will also ensure compliance with program deadlines and provide support to others as needed.
