 <li>
 Lead and mentor the legal team, ensuring effective collaboration and professional development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Draft, review, and negotiate contracts across jurisdictions (US, India, Germany), ensuring alignment with business objectives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide legal advice and support to internal teams, managing stakeholder communication and compliance with laws and policies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and mitigate legal risks in business operations, contracts, and new initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee compliance programs, including data privacy, anti-corruption, and trade regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct legal research and deliver timely, practical guidance to support business decisions.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 Education &amp; Experience
 
 
 &bull; LLB (duly admitted to the Bar Council)
 
 
 &bull; Approx 5 years of working experience in-house a global company
 
 
 
 
 
 Required Skills &amp; Qualifications
 
 
 &bull; Exposure to compliance including data privacy, anti-corruption, export control and trade sanction would be preferred.
 
 
 &bull; Some exposure to IP rights would be preferred
 
 
 &bull; Some expertise in defence contract will be appreciated.
 
 
 &bull; Some expertise on US or German laws will be appreciated
 
 
 &bull; Exposure using AI tools for legal management
 
 
 &bull; Excellent legal acumen and analytical skills.
 
 
 &bull; Strong networking skills and is exposed to interacting with internal stakeholders
 
 
 &bull; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and fluent in English and a regional language
 
 
 &bull; Business and service minded with excellent problem-solving skill and is used to explain legal risk to internal and external stakeholder
 
 
 &bull; Strongly understands business ethics integrity

Senior Legal Counsel

 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and OEMs to capture, author, and manage
 
 system and subsystem requirements
 
 for automotive projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform
 
 requirements analysis, decomposition, and allocation
 
 to hardware and software domains.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create
 
 use case models and functional scenarios
 
 aligned with vehicle-level features and functions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain
 
 traceability matrices
 
 to ensure coverage from stakeholder requirements down to component implementation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct
 
 impact analysis
 
 for requirement changes to evaluate effects on system behavior, safety, and compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support
 
 system architecture and design definition
 
 in collaboration with domain experts (e.g., ADAS, propulsion, infotainment, body electronics).
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage requirements using
 
 industry-standard tools
 
 such as DOORS, DOORS NG, Polarion, or PLM platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Document and share requirements on
 
 collaboration platforms
 
 (Confluence, SharePoint, OneDrive, cloud).
 </li>
 <li>
 Support verification &amp; validation teams to ensure
 
 requirements coverage and compliance
 
 with automotive standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262).
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Required Skills &amp; Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering (Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, or related field).
 </li>
 <li>
 2&ndash;3 years of experience in
 
 requirements engineering / systems engineering in the automotive domain
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience with requirements management tools (DOORS, DOORS NG, Polarion, PLM).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of
 
 requirements writing, analysis, and change management
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with
 
 use case modeling, traceability, and impact analysis in automotive systems
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of
 
 systems engineering concepts, vehicle system architecture, and domain interactions
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with
 
 collaboration tools
 
 (Confluence, SharePoint, OneDrive, or similar).
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of automotive standards (e.g.,
 
 ASPICE, ISO 26262
 
 ) is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Optional / Nice-to-Have Skills
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Knowledge of
 
 Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
 
 principles.
 </li>

 Familiarity with
