Overview of Roles/Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Balances attending criminal court hearings (virtually and in-person). Provides case updates to ALTO Leadership customers/victims. Attends retail client visits and events, to provide Legal updates and to support the renewal of ALTO contracts.</li><li>
Supports both Operations Lead Counsel, Directors, Operations Managers, and CSS(s) in developing presentations to provide client service updates as well as written and verbal communications to multi-level and cross-function clients, law enforcement, and community leaders/affiliates.</li><li>
Leads communication throughout process, partners with law enforcement and prosecutors regarding criminal case preparation, filing and case dispositions, to acting as victim&rsquo;s advocate, conferring with victims, witnesses, law enforcement officers, and prosecutors, as well as advises victims and corporate employers regarding criminal and courtroom procedure and case handling.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Scope of Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Attends criminal court hearings and reports court activity to Lead Attorney, victims and to the ALTO program directors.</li><li>
Acts as a victim advocate and confers with victims, witnesses, law enforcement officers and prosecutors regarding the rights and wishes of victims.</li><li>
Educates victims and corporate employers regarding criminal law and procedure.</li><li>
Assists in coordination of witness courtroom attendance.</li><li>
Assists in preparation of victim impact statements and restitution forms.</li><li>

Staff Attorney

The ALTO Legal Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Operations Team through administrative responsibilities, research, and development of legal solutions for ALTO&rsquo;s clients&rsquo; crime and public safety challenges. The ALTO Legal Coordinator is also responsible for supporting Staff Attorneys in managing clients&rsquo; criminal investigations and cases in their local metro areas. This is a hands-on, multi-tasking role that requires in-person representation as a client victim advocate in law enforcement and prosecutor meetings and criminal proceedings.</p><p></p><p><br>
This position requires incumbents to exercise well developed communication and legal skills and act independently under the general oversight and direction of ALTO Staff Attorneys and Operations Managers. ALTO US is seeking a Customer Success Specialist (CSS) to join our US Operations team. The CSS is a critical part of ALTO&rsquo;s victim advocate service and serves as the primary point of contact for an assigned district of stores, supporting multiple retailers. The ALTO solution is an innovative new approach in addressing retail theft and store/community safety. This is a hands-on, field-based position that will work closely with local Law Enforcement agencies and work collaboratively with the ALTO Legal staff and other members of the Operations team to create safer stores and communities.
