Set up the cost control for projects during contract execution as well as monitor the financial progress of projects in order to contribute to the full realization of the project objectives.</p>
<p><b>
Tasks and Responsibilities as Project Controls Coordinator:</b></p>
<p><b>
Define project control system for cost management</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Set-up of project control system based on Client accounting and reporting systems, Altrad standardised cost control method, including supply chain forecasting and reporting and contract financials.
</li><li>Make budget changes in relation to project scope changes.
</li></ul><p><b>Set-up of budgets and project administration</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Code, monitor &amp; approve costs and allocate these as appropriate.
</li><li>Set-up periodic budget reporting in close operation with project manager and involved departments.
</li><li>Participate in set-up of cost control (and related) work processes.
</li><li>Coordinate costing of budget revisions &bull; Forecast cash flow over project cycle.
</li></ul><p><b>Monitoring of financial planning and progress</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Complete/update project cost control sheet per period (minimum monthly).
</li><li>Determine stable forecasts based on updated activity reports &amp; (physical) percentage of completion per month as appropriate.
</li><li>Give advice and information about the expected financial results, overruns and underruns within the different budget-components.
</li><li>Give advice for mitigating actions within the project, especially related to claims and extra work.
</li><li>Collect and analyse projects data and compare this with budgets and subsequent calculation.
</li><li>Conduct project evaluations with project leader as a basis for future profitable projects.
</li><li>Analyse trend in cost of the projects and make projections and adjust planning for the whole project.
</li><li>Ensure correct allocation of costs against applicable budget lines.
</li><li>Ensure billing is submitted to the client in a timely manner.
</li><li>Monitor status of payments and invoices and support project manager in invoicing to client.
</li><li>Monitor cash flow over project cycle and advise project manager on improvement actions.
