Altimate Outdoor is seeking a full-time Event Marketing Manager to build and lead our face-to-face lead generation efforts across Central Ohio and surrounding markets.This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of a growing department, lead from the front, and drive measurable results. In this role, you will oversee Altimate Outdoor&rsquo;s participation in home shows, community events, fairs, and other local marketing activations, connecting directly with homeowners and generating qualified appointments on the spot.This is a dynamic, field-based leadership role that requires weekend availability every week, a reliable vehicle, and the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends, to recruit, train, and support a part-time event team.Responsibilities<ul><li>Organize and manage Altimate Outdoor&rsquo;s presence at local and regional events, including home shows, fairs, community events, and future retail or showroom-based activations</li><li>Recruit, train, and lead a team of part-time brand ambassadors / appointment setters to engage homeowners and generate high-quality appointments</li><li>Set weekly lead and performance goals, coach team members, and monitor key performance indicators</li><li>Provide on-site leadership every weekend to ensure strong execution, professionalism, and results in the field</li><li>Track departmental performance, cost of marketing, set rate, hours per demo, hiring progress, inventory needs, and weekly reporting</li><li>Collaborate closely with leadership on scorecards, accountability, appointment quality, and departmental profitability</li><li>Manage booth materials, displays, signage, and field inventory for events and shows</li><li>Conduct interviews, training sessions, and team support during weekday evenings as needed</li><li>Participate in weekly leadership meetings and maintain strong communication with the office and leadership team</li><li>Operate with a high level of ownership, accountability, and professionalism while helping build this department the right way</li></ul>TerritoryThis role will be based out of Columbus, Ohio and supports a broad regional territory. Candidates should be comfortable traveling throughout the market for events and activations.The role is intended for someone who lives within a reasonable commute of the Columbus office, since that is where team training, meetings, and collaboration will take place. While much of the work is field-based, Columbus will serve as the operational hub for this role.Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of leadership, team management, or field management experience</li><li>Strong communication, recruiting, coaching, and organizational skills</li><li>Mandatory weekend availability year-round</li><li>Comfortable working a non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation required</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a leadership team</li><li>Comfortable managing a field-heavy role while also participating in office meetings and team collaboration</li><li>Experience in event marketing, direct sales, canvassing, retail marketing, home shows, or home improvement marketing is strongly preferred</li><li>Experience managing performance metrics, accountability systems, or budgets is highly preferred</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForThe right person for this role is focused, organized, humble, accountable, and results-driven.
