Position Summary:
The Logistics Planner is responsible for efficiently managing the entire process from receiving sales orders to coordinating procurement and completing shipment operations. This role ensures accurate inventory management, effective supplier relations, timely deliveries, and proper documentation throughout all logistics stages.
Main Duties:<ul>
<li>
Receive the detailed order lists for the products forwarded to logistics by the sales team and record them in the relevant ERP system.
</li><li>Check the stock status of the orders and enter the required quantities into the system using the available inventory.
</li><li>Create purchase orders for domestic suppliers for products that are not in stock and initiate the procurement process.</li>
<li>Communicate with suppliers, follow up on delivery timelines, and manage potential disruptions.
</li><li>Complete system outbound operations for products ready for shipment and initiate the shipping process.
</li><li>Prepare and track all required shipment documents, including invoices and delivery notes.
</li><li>Maintain continuous communication with suppliers and the sales team to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.
</li><li>Monitor supplier performance and evaluate them based on quality and delivery timelines.
</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate completion of all order processes by monitoring all workflow stages.
</li><li>Conduct regular stock checks and prepare inventory reports.
</li><li>Document all logistics processes to ensure transparency and traceability.</li>
</ul>
Requirements<ul>
<li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
</li><li>Preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or order/inventory planning.
</li><li>Experience working with domestic and international suppliers.
</li><li>Experience in preparing invoices, delivery notes, and shipment documentation.
</li><li>Previous experience with ERP or logistics tracking systems.
</li><li>Additional training or certifications in logistics or supply chain management are considered an asset.
</li><li>Good command of English.
</li>

Logistics Planner

<div>Alumil Egypt is looking for a skilled and results-driven Procurement Manager to join its team in Cairo. The role oversees our procurement process and exists to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance with company policies.
<ul><li>Design and execute effective procurement strategies to meet company objectives and maximize cost savings.</li>
<li>Identify and source suppliers while negotiating contracts and prices to secure the best value for the company.</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, managing contracts to ensure compliance and performance.</li>
<li>Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies and budget constraints.
</li><li>Monitor inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services according to production schedules.</li>

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>A minimum of 5&ndash;7 years in procurement or supply chain management.</li>
<li>Excellent English and Arabic.</li>
<li>Proficiency in ERP/procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).</li>
<li>Strong negotiation and contract management skills.</li>
<li>Solid analytical and decision-making abilities.</li>
<li>Strong experience in risk management and cost control.</li>
