Job Summary</b></h2></div><div><p>
Alys Beach Construction is seeking an entry-level Interior Designer with strong computer skills and an interest in collaborating in a team-focused environment. This role will provide design support for our established and growing Alys Beach Construction team, based in Alys Beach, FL. As a Junior Interior Designer, you will work closely with Senior/Associate Designers to help develop and execute interior design concepts for residential spaces.</p><div><div><div><br>

Job Responsibilities</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Provide support and assistance for senior designers, project managers, and field superintendents.</li><li>
Create purchase orders and oversee tracking of products as needed for projects.</li><li>
Generate visual aids to be used by Alys Beach Sales and Marketing Departments.</li><li>
Collaborate with the Design Team in developing schematics, construction documents, and interior detailing.</li><li>
Coordinate post-construction photoshoots with Alys Beach Marketing.</li><li>
Research and development with vendors and suppliers on market trends, new products, and sustainability efforts.</li><li>
Generate FF+E schedules for estimating/pricing.</li><li>
Maintain documentation of all ID files including client approvals, executed contracts, and meeting minutes.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Job Requirements</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Interior Design and/or Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Architecture or comparable degree.</li><li>
0-2 years of experience working full-time in Interior Design or similar role.</li><li>
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and/or Revit.</li><li>
Computer skill set to include Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Google Suite.</li><li>
Ability to listen and provide input within the parameters of the required programming.</li><li>
Student / Professional Memberships in ASID and/or IIDA preferred.</li><li>
Experience with working on a team and streamlining internal communication preferred.</li><li>
Intermediate to advanced skills with SketchUp or comparable 3D Modeling Programs preferred.</li><li>
Strong dedication and self-driven personality with the ability to focus and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>
Proficiency using Bluebeam and MS Office Suite preferred.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Essential Job Function</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Drafting and plotting skills in AutoCad or comparable program (portfolio submittal required).</li><li>
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.</li><li>
Ability to sit for long periods of time in an office environment.</li><li>
Graphic design and sketching skills for presentation.</li></ul></div></div></div><p></p><p><br>
