We are seeking a creative and motivated Website Design Intern to help update our website and support our growing online presence.This internship is ideal for people who is emerging professionals interested in web design, website content management, digital marketing, and branding within a creative small business environment.Internship OverviewThe Website Design Intern will work closely with Alzerina to help update, manage, and improve the company website. The intern will assist with content updates, visual layout, basic front-end development, and digital marketing support. This role offers hands-on experience and meaningful projects that can be included in a professional portfolio.Responsibilities<ul><li>Help update and maintain the website with new images, text, products, and design elements</li><li>Ensure website content is visually appealing, accurate, and optimized for web publishing</li><li>Write, edit, and proofread website content to maintain brand consistency and quality</li><li>Assist with website layout updates, formatting, and basic front-end design tasks</li><li>Support SEO improvements and content organization to enhance user experience</li><li>Help develop creative ideas to grow website traffic through email marketing, social media, and digital campaigns</li><li>Assist with email newsletters, website promotions, and online outreach</li><li>Monitor basic website performance metrics and help identify opportunities for improvement</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery is a plus)</li><li>Understanding of web design principles, including typography, layout, color theory, and usability</li><li>Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; After Effects is a plus)</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organization</li><li>Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a small team</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines</li><li>Interest in web design, digital marketing, branding, or creative industries</li></ul>What You&rsquo;ll Gain<ul><li>Hands-on website design and content management experience</li><li>Portfolio-ready projects with real-world impact</li><li>One-on-one mentorship and direct collaboration with the founder</li><li>Exposure to branding, e-commerce, and digital marketing strategies</li><li>Internship eligible for school credit (if applicable)</li><li>Experience working with a women-owned small business in NYC</li></ul>How to ApplyIf you are passionate about web design, creativity, and digital storytelling, we would love to hear from you.
