Provides efficient service to the customer, working in a live and non-live race environment.RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Operates wagering system and/or all peripheral equipment or system associated with AmTote&rsquo;s service.</li><li>Generates necessary reports as required by customer mutuel departments and state regulatory agencies.</li><li>Troubleshoots and repairs or supervises repair of equipment associated with AmTote.</li><li>Follow AmTote safety procedures.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE &amp; EDUCATION:<ul><li>0 to 1 years&rsquo; experience</li><li>High School Diploma and additional education a plus</li><li>IT background a plus</li><li>Basic Computer Operation &ndash; should have an understanding of Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, 7, 10 &ndash; Excel spreadsheets.</li><li>Will need to drive and operate our company vehicle(s). Must have a valid driver's license.</li><li>Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, works well with people, including other employees, the general public and customers.</li><li>Experience changing computer video resolution, how to change hard drive parameters and how to use a digital voltmeter.</li><li>Experience using &ldquo;ping&rdquo;.</li><li>Understanding software drives such as sound cards, video cards and printers.</li><li>Basic understanding of basic electrical principles.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.</li><li>Ability to lift and/or carry 50 pounds short distances.</li><li>Self-motivated, hardworking, flexible, and reliable.</li><li>Ability to learn quickly, detailed oriented, take direction, work, and communicate effectively with co-workers.</li><li>Basic industry knowledge, such as a superfecta is 4, Kentucky Derby is 1st Sat in May, etc.</li></ul>OTHER INFORMATION:This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.BASE WORK LOCATION:Position is based at Gulfstream Park Racetrack in Hallandale Beach, Florida.We are 1/ST Technology - A fully integrated racing and gaming technology company providing solutions that drive pari- mutuel and fixed-odds wagering world-wide.
