Financial services company is seeking a motivated Paralegal to perform a variety of high volume administrative tasks. A successful applicant will need at least one (3.0) years of experience, a degree or certificate in paralegal studies, experience with Texas efiling, a meticulous attention to detail, and computer proficiency with Microsoft Office. Please submit your resume along with a cover letter detailing your relevant experience.Responsibilities:The Paralegal will work directly with the Legal Operations Manager and Collections Attorney on the following responsibilities:<ul><li>Setting up newly placed files in our internal software system (Salesforce)</li><li>Drafting and sending legal demands letters to third parties</li><li>Drafting and Filing of legal pleadings</li><li>Provide administrative support to the senior management team</li><li>Email communications to third parties based on collector requests</li><li>Organzing and managing the legal calendar, including all deadlines and hearings</li><li>Serve demand letters via mail, fax, email, and online upload</li><li>Contact third parties to follow up on lien demands</li><li>Follow up with debtors and defendants regarding settlement negotiations</li><li>Prepare and send reports to management and clients</li><li>General office needs including printing, copying, scanning, faxing, and postage</li><li>Act as adminsitrative assistant to the senior management team as needed</li><li>Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Able to communicate professionally and effectively with customers and third parties</li><li>Computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Word</li><li>Good grammar skills</li><li>Ability to meet multiple deadlines without losing attention to detail</li><li>Produce accurate and timely deliverables on a variety of different tasks</li><li>Results driven and detail-oriented</li><li>Proficiency in file management and organization</li><li>Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail</li></ul>A successful applicant will have excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
