Role
We are seeking an experienced and well-connected Director of Sales based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to lead our commercial growth in the GCC region. This role is pivotal in expanding our presence amongst High Net Worth and Ultra-High Net Worth individuals, inspiring them to discover and stay at our collection of luxury hotels and resorts worldwide.
Responsibilities
<ul><li>Develop and execute a proactive sales strategy to grow market share from the GCC region.
</li><li>Leverage your established network of HNW and UHNW individuals, family offices, luxury travel advisors, and key influencers to drive new business.
</li><li>Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with discerning clients, ensuring exceptional levels of personal service and brand advocacy.
</li><li>Partner with Marketing and Operations to design bespoke experiences that resonate with the GCC luxury traveller.
</li><li>Represent the brand at high-profile industry events, luxury forums, and client engagements across the region.
</li><li>Prospect and qualify new outbound opportunities across travel advisor, OTA (Online Travel agency), wholesale, DMC (Destination Management Company), and corporate segments.
</li><li>Act as a market ambassador, providing insights into emerging luxury travel trends and competitive dynamics.
</li><li>Represent Aman at tradeshows, industry events, and sales missions, delivering compelling sales presentations and property updates.
</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate updates within CRM systems to maintain visibility of pipeline, sales activity, and partner engagement.
</li><li>Collaborate with global sales colleagues to share best practices and support continuous improvement of reporting, campaigns, and field tools.
</li></ul>Requirements
<ul><li>10+ years proven track record in luxury hospitality, private client sales, or a related luxury sector, including at least 3&ndash;5 years in regional or global sales.
</li><li>A strong personal &ldquo;black book&rdquo; of HNW and UHNW contacts in the GCC market, with the ability to open doors and cultivate relationships at the highest level.
</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with cultural fluency in the GCC. Skilled in prospecting, account planning, and developing long-term partner relationships.
</li><li>Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, with the drive to deliver results in a competitive luxury market.
</li><li>A passion for creating meaningful, personalised guest journeys aligned with the values of our brand.
</li><li>Proficient in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and experienced with group sales and RFP tools such as Delphi or Cvent.
</li><li>Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent Aman with credibility and professionalism. with the ability to influence across cultures and markets.
</li><li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field; advanced sales training or certifications are preferred.
</li><li>You are flexible and willing to travel up to 50% of the time across the GCC and internationally.
