Amano Restaurant Group recently purchased and renovated an old bank building that will house three distinct concepts: AMANO, C&Aacute;N, and Los Hoyos.Amano is the flagship craft Mexican food and cocktail experience that has earned 3 James Beard Best Chef Semifinalist Nominations as well as a Finalist for the Mountain West Region is 2023. This concept celebrates regional dishes and wine through Mexico and popular Mexican culture through its loteria menu cocktail program.C&Aacute;N, the newest concept, is a Mexican speakeasy that celebrates Mexican art + culture alongside food, remedios, and spirits. C&aacute;n is short for Michoac&aacute;n, where our Chef, Salvador Alamilla is from.The last concept is a counter-service lunch concept that will serve fast food, cooked slow, in traditional in-ground barbacoa pits.We are looking for a Dishwasher to add to our incredible back of house team! This is a very crucial position for a kitchen to run properly and we would love to meet you. Especially if you enjoy fast paced environments, cleaning, and organization. This job does require night/evening hours availability.This position will maintain cleanliness and organization for our restaurant. Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading dish washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately. If you want to kickstart your career in the restaurant industry and be part of the behind-the-scenes operations, this is a great opportunity.Responsibilities<ul><li>Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas</li><li>Load and unload dishwashing machines</li><li>Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately</li><li>Set up workstation</li><li>Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours</li><li>Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents)</li><li>Check washing machines&rsquo; operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues</li><li>Remove garbage regularly</li><li>Maintain an organized flow and work area</li><li>Communicate when walking through the busy kitchen for safety</li><li>During downtime, portion or prep easy items or deep clean to maintain area.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>No skills needed, dishwashing experience preferred, but not required</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed</li><li>Time management skills</li><li>Attention to detail and sanitation rules</li><li>Sunday availability required.</li></ul>Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are you available to work Sundays?</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Spanish (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Caldwell, ID 83605 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
