Job Summary AMATA LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team in Corona, CA. This position supports both front and back-office operations and plays a key role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.Duties<ul><li>Perform patient intake, including vital signs and assessments</li><li>Conduct routine blood draws and manage lab specimens and results</li><li>Assist providers during patient visits</li><li>Ensure accuracy and compliance of clinical documentation</li><li>Support clinical staff with routine medical tasks</li><li>Enter and manage clinical and billing data within the Medi-Cal electronic health record (EHR) system</li><li>Submit authorizations and referrals</li><li>Verify patient insurance benefits</li><li>Assist with billing processes and clinical reconciliation audits</li><li>Support compliance and regulatory audit activities</li><li>Greet, check-in, and schedule patients</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Previous Medical Assistant experience or related healthcare experience preferred</li><li>Knowledge of medical office procedures, documentation, and terminology</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to follow established protocols and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Experience with EHR systems (Medi-Cal experience a plus)</li></ul>Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
