</b></p></div><p>The General Manager role at Ambrosia QSR is responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations, including guest service, employee engagement, and profitability. Key responsibilities include ensuring the consistent execution of guest service standards, food safety protocols, quality control, and adherence to company policies. This full-time position requires strong accountability, leadership, and the ability to mentor the team. During peak hours, the General Manager plays an active role in leading the team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. They are accountable for setting clear goals, establishing timelines, and ensuring the team meets performance targets.</p><div><p><b>
Job Responsibilities</b></p></div><p><i>
Team</i></p><ul><li>
Provide training and development opportunities for the management team and staff. Conduct performance reviews according to the company&rsquo;s scheduled timeline</li><li>
Recruit, train, and develop restaurant management and staff, following training plans and company systems to meet goals within the designated timeframe</li><li>
Schedule regular team and manager meetings to communicate effectively, ensuring all staff are informed of any company or policy changes</li><li>
Enforce company policies, including compliance with laws and local regulations, such as work breaks, timekeeping, and minor management responsibilities. Maintain accurate employee records and submit them on time as required</li><li>
Immediately report any complaints or employee behavior that violates company policy to the assigned district manager, and resolve issues promptly</li><li>
Foster a safe, inclusive work environment that does not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or retaliation (report any incidents to the assigned District Manager and Human Resources)</li></ul><p><i>
Guests</i></p><ul><li>
Greet every guest warmly and promptly, creating a welcoming atmosphere</li><li>
Strive to provide an exceptional experience for every guest on every visit, addressing any issues with positivity and sound judgment</li><li>
Regularly walk through the restaurant to check on guests, inquire about their dining experience, and ensure the building&rsquo;s interior and exterior is inviting and safe</li><li>
Stay informed about the local market trends and community needs to make guest-centric decisions
</li></ul><p><i>Operations</i></p><ul><li>
Oversee food safety and other safety protocols, ensuring all required postings are clearly visible and properly displayed</li></ul><ul><li>
Implement marketing plans and ensure the restaurant staff is trained and ready for promotions, following company guidelines</li><li>
Use a headset to monitor team interactions with guests, offering praise, coaching, or redirection as needed</li><li>
Address basic equipment maintenance issues as they arise</li><li>
Manage labor costs by creating accurate sales projections, writing balanced schedules, and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time</li><li>
Ensure daily food safety compliance and operational standards are consistently met by the team</li><li>
Communicate with the District Manager, Director of Operations, and Restaurant Support Center as needed, ensuring emails and requests are addressed timely
</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><i>
Profitability</i></p><ul><li>
Ensure all food is prepared fresh to order, following company recipes, and accurately record all items in the POS system
</li><li>Oversee all sales transactions within the POS system and ensure proper use of inventory tracking systems. Implement measures to address inventory concerns when needed</li><li>
Manage controllable expenses, making sure to place inventory orders while maintaining cost standards</li><li>
Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal support teams</li><li>
Oversee proper use of equipment, small wares, and products. Confirm all equipment is cleaned regularly and preventive maintenance is performed to ensure safety and functionality. Address minor equipment issues promptly and report any non-functional equipment to Operations Support immediately
</li><li>Supervise staff to ensure compliance with all cash handling, banking policies, and procedures</li><li>
Verify that all asset protection systems are in use and functioning properly</li><li>
Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance with financial guidelines
</li></ul><div><p><b>Education and Work Experience</b></p></div><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>
Serv Safe training &amp; certificate
</li><li>Prior experience with a POS System
</li><li>2 years of hands-on food or retail management experience
</li></ul><div><p><b>Qualifications and Skills
</b></p></div><ul><li>Authorized to work in the United States</li><li>
Must be at least 18 years of age
</li><li>Able to successfully pass a background check, including criminal history and a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)</li><li>
Ensure compliance with all required training as mandated by local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies, to maintain operational and regulatory standards</li><li>
Have reliable transportation, a valid driver&rsquo;s license and all state required insurances</li><li>
Maintain a working cell phone and effectively communicate via text, phone calls and emails</li><li>
Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft 365</li><li>
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively</li><li>
A responsible team player, demonstrating punctuality, proper attire, and respect for others
</li><li>Experience in a fast-paced office environment with shifting priorities is a plus</li><li>
Engage in hands-on leadership with a strong focus on growth and development of people</li><li>
Be able to work with, coach, and develop a diverse group of people from different backgrounds and with varying strengths</li><li>

You will be working in a team-oriented atmosphere, collaborating with other members of the team to ensure smooth restaurant operations. This role involves frequent interaction with customers, creating a welcoming and efficient dining experience. The restaurant environment includes both indoor and outdoor areas, and you may be required to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift. Safety and cleanliness are top priorities, and all staff members are expected to follow health and safety protocols. Flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays, is required.</p><div><p><b>
