Job Description</b></h1><p><b>
RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><p></p><p>
1. Provide technical support to AW engineering team within the scope of assigned projects.</p><p>
2. Maintain regular project updates to applicable project leaders.</p><p>
3. Comply with all company Environmental Health and Safety and Department of Health requirements.</p><p>
4. Provide an &ldquo;end of term&rdquo; presentation that summarizes the work completed and lessons learned during the internship.</p><p></p><p><b>
QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p><p></p><p><b>
Education:</b></p><ul><li>High School Diploma</li><li>Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering Program and in good academic standing.</li></ul><p><b>
Practical:</b></p><ul><li>Good past work experience.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.</li><li>Able to accept responsibility for work performed.</li><li>Able to work independently and with others.</li><li>Must be self-motivated and self-disciplined abiding by all Amcor codes of ethics, safety policies and rules.</li><li>Experience preferred. (SoildWorks, AutoCAD, technical training, mechanical &ldquo;hobbies&rdquo;)</li></ul><p><b>
Physical Expectations:</b></p><ul><li>Hearing sufficient to recognize and respond to shouted warnings, alarms and horns on forklifts.</li><li>Able to use both hands for effective manipulation of tools/parts.</li><li>Ability to work at heights (with or without fall protection).</li><li>Must not be at risk of sudden alterations in consciousness.</li><li>Ability to lift 35 pounds a minimum of 10 times per day.</li><li>Ability to push/pull loads of approx. 45 lbs. at a minimum of 10 times per day/shift.</li><li>Able to work in extremes of heat/cold.</li><li>Able to work overhead or in awkward positions on a frequent basis.</li><li>Ability to occasionally climb on and off a forklift safely and without assistance.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>

Job Description</b></h1><p>
Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>
In compliance with the company policies, make recommendations regarding the hiring and dismissal of personnel in the department.</li><li>
Ensure necessary follow-up on/with employees based on their attendance or other HR/work related issues.</li><li>
Ensure ongoing training of all department employees, i.e. related to specific job, Safety and Environment, ISO and SQF Quality and ongoing personnel development.</li><li>
Update personnel files for attendance and training according to procedures.</li><li>
Uphold and enforce all the policies in our Personnel Policy Manual.</li><p></p><li>
Ensure any communication methods needed in addition to methods included in the ISO and SQF Quality System are implemented and used to ensure proper communication between the shifts.</li><p></p><li>
Establish a work environment of empowerment, commitment and teamwork in the department.</li><p></p><li>
Hold department meetings on a regular basis to ensure a high general information level, go through quality issues, etc.</li><p></p><li>
Ensure each shift is staffed with the appropriate number of employees within the limit of the approved budget.</li><p></p><li>
Assist in internal training when requested.</li><p></p><li>
Update and maintain personal knowledge.</li></ul><p></p><p>
Qualifications:</p><ul><li>
Previous Quality experience is required</li><li>
Previous supervisory experience is required</li><li>
Knowledge of SQF and ISO procedures</li><li>
Injection Molding experience preferred</li><li>
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.</li></ul><p></p><p>
The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $70,000 to $85,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Position may also be eligible for Amcor's Management Incentive Plan/Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.</p><p></p><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
