Work in a professional manner with other maintenance personnel as needed to keep all equipment in top working order resulting in only quality products being released to the customer. Troubleshoot, remove and replace different types of electronic, electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and optic systems. Pre-inspect parts or equipment to be repaired to determine what parts, supplies, forms, tools, repair and shop equipment are required; and communicate with the Maintenance Manager. Read programmable controller information to diagnose complex problems. Diagnose and repair AC and DC motor controls. Replace belts, pulleys, cables, chains, bearings, gears and related equipment. Communicate with other plant personnel when requested to, to review deficiencies. Accurately log all work performed. Maintain work areas in a clean orderly manner. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Be thoroughly familiar with plant lockout/tagout procedures, electrical safety, hazard communication program, personal protective equipment and other safety programs and apply these procedures when working on equipment. Other duties and/or jobs as assigned. 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, &amp; ABILITIES 
Work off of a ladder or in high or cramped spaces. Must be skillful in diagnosing and repairing plastic injection molding equipment and accessories. Talented in troubleshooting industrial motors, starters, controls, and panels. High school education or GED equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Good hand and eye coordination is very essential. Demonstrated dexterity in using hand tools. Ability to lift 100 pounds and carry 50 pounds safely. Ability to intermittently sit, bend, climb, twist, crouch, reach, and lower. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to transfer and to interpret the explanation of problems and to receive and understand work assignments. Achieve and maintain required certified electrical worker status including certified CPR.
Preferred 2 to 3 years&rsquo; experience with maintenance. Injection molding machine abilities preferred. Understanding of hydraulics. Electrical background preferred. Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics. Knowledge of PLC. Ability to operate a forklift safely and professionally. Welding and fabrication as needed.

Work Shift: M-F, 8am - 5pm (1-hour unpaid meal break)
Job Overview: The Hybrid Material Handler &amp; Cycle Counter plays a critical role in supporting warehouse throughput while maintaining inventory accuracy. This position combines material handling responsibilities&mdash;such as picking, staging, loading and unloading, and put-away&mdash;with inventory control activities, including cycle counts, physical counts, discrepancy reconciliation, rack and location labeling, and data/system entry. By ensuring products move efficiently through the warehouse and that inventory records remain accurate and audit-ready, this role directly contributes to service levels and production schedules. The position performs routine material handling tasks while executing structured inventory control processes, such as cycle counting and variance investigation. Additional responsibilities include maintaining location labeling and partnering with Warehouse Lead to audit put-away and picking accuracy. The Hybrid Material Handler &amp; Cycle Counter is expected to follow all safety policies and may flex to priority work centers based on operational demand.
Direct Reports: None
Geographical scope: Manufacturing facility (plant-based role). This role directly supports warehouse throughput and inventory accuracy influencing production schedules and customer service levels. Regularly collaboration with Warehouse Lead, Material Handlers, and Inventory Control team; occasional contact with auditors, suppliers, and logistics partners.
Decision-Making Authority: In this role, the Hybrid Material Handler &amp; Cycle Counter (Inventory Control) exercises judgment in resolving inventory discrepancies, recommending corrective actions, and maintaining labelling accuracy. The employee in this role is authorized to escalate unresolved issues or systemic variances to the Warehouse Lead. The employee in this role makes day-to-day decisions on prioritizing tasks between material handling and inventory control based on operational demand.
Functional Dimensions: This role has a significant impact across operations, finance, and safety:<ul><li>
Operational Impact: Ensures production line efficiency, consistent product quality, and strict compliance with manufacturing standards. Accurate resin delivery and blending are essential to maintaining smooth operations.</li><li>
Financial Impact: Accurate cycle counts and discrepancy resolution reduce write-offs, shrinkage, and costly rework. Timely and precise data entry supports financial reporting and inventory valuation.</li></ul>
Safety Impact: Adherence to safety policies, PPE requirements, and hazard reporting helps prevent workplace injuries and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. Decisions made during material handling and equipment operation directly affect employee safety and facility risk management.
Accountabilities
1. Material Handling: Pick, pack, stage, load/unload; perform put-away and replenishment using standard work and location accuracy.
2. Cycle Counting: Execute daily cycle counts and assist with monthly physical inventory; document results and variances.
3. Reconciliation: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies (including negative bins); identify root causes and recommend corrective action.
4. Accuracy Audits: Assist Warehouse Lead with audits of put-away and picking accuracy: implement corrective labelling or procedural updates.
5. Labelling &amp; Locations: Maintain rack and bin labels; ensure locations align with system data.
6. Data &amp; Systems: Complete paperwork and accurate computer entries; update counts, moves, and adjustments per procedure.
7. Safety &amp; 5S: Adhere to safety policies, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards; promptly report hazards.
8. Flex Support: Perform duties of a Material Handler/Picker when inventory tasks are complete or operational priorities require.
Qualifications/Requirements
Formal Qualifications and Experience<ul><li>

Job Description</h1>
General Summary:
The general scope of this position is to support the maintenance team in the repair/maintenance of company equipment and increase production efficiency.
Philosophy:
Production team members are the backbone of our company&rsquo;s success, and maintenance is the customer service group that supports the production team. Well maintained equipment that runs without flaw has no boundaries or limits...only opportunities!
Essential Job Functions:
1. The ability to work safely using required PPE, as well as ensuring all production equipment is in a safe working manner. Must be able to work safely and follow all JSA instructions, safety rules, and policies.
2. Ability to work overtime with little or no notice depending on machine unplanned events.
3. Willing and able to assist in breakdowns and repairs including pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical applications.
4. Work on projects assigned by the Plant Maintenance Manager.
5. Follow all inventory control guidelines and inventory management procedures.
6. Ability to install new equipment as needed.
7. Willing and capable of assisting with &ldquo;8 Hour&rdquo; PM&rsquo;s and &ldquo;7 Day Cleanups&rdquo;
8. Must be driven and show initiative to start tasks without being told.
9. Willing and capable of working with Electro-Mechanical Technicians on more technical issues to increase knowledge of more advanced troubleshooting.
10. Willing to continually increase knowledge and skillset to reach an Electro-Mechanical Technician level within a given time frame.
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Knowledge and understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
2. Knowledge of Arc Flash ratings and all PPE associated with Arc Flash hazards.
3. Knowledge of basic OSHA standards.
4. Ability to operate a forklift/scissor lift in a safe manner consistent with OSHA standards.
5. Experience in industrial maintenance with a strong skillset in all mechanical applications including pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting.
6. Capable of fabrication and design including welding, grinding, and cutting with a torch or plasma cutter.
7. Ability to work with basic three phase 240/480 volts or single phase 220/120 volts electrical applications.
8. Working knowledge of all plant production equipment including chillers and air compressors.
9. Ability to troubleshoot and correct complex mechanical issues, as well as basic electrical issues.
10. Knowledge of power tools and the ability to use them.
11. Ability to work well in a team environment.
12. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
13. Effective communication skills a must.
Education and Experience:
1. 3 &ndash; 7 years on the job experience.
2. High school diploma or GED is required.
3. Industrial Maintenance Certificate is a plus.
4. Ability to read, write, hear, and speak English proficiently.
5. Basic math skills.
6. Basic Computer skills
7. Must have the ability to multi-task.<h1 class="jobSectionHeader">
