Job Responsibilities:</div><div></div><div>
Perform the following duties as they relate to residential and commercial electric meters and residential and commercial gas meters and modules for which employees are trained and capable of performing and in accordance with the 2012 Division Jurisdictional Agreement language as part of the IBEW Contract:</div><ul><li><div>
Must maintain safety and customer focus at all times.</div></li><li><div>
Respond to alarms, flags, alerts, and events from the AMI system and replace non-performing electric meters and gas meters/modules/indexes as necessary.</div></li><li><div>
Install electric AMI meters and gas modules the deployment vendor is unable to complete (UTCs).</div></li><li><div>
Change out AMI/AMR electric meters and AMI gas meters/modules due to customer request for non-standard (non-AMI/AMR) metering.</div></li><li><div>
Perform routine electric and gas meter exchanges and AMI gas module exchanges.</div></li><li><div>
As part of gas meter exchanges, installations and removals, set and verify gas regulator pressure and lock-up pressure; and check meter-set piping for leaks with leak detector solution.</div></li><li><div>
Install/replace regulator vent screens.</div></li><li><div>
Perform non-pay door knocks in advance of non-payment disconnections, when necessary.</div></li><li><div>
Execute electric and gas service disconnections and reconnections as necessary.</div></li><li><div>
Respond to all requests for electric and gas physical meter reads as necessary, including but not limited to, monthly meter reading for non-standard metering.</div></li><li><div>
Identify, investigate and report potential diversion, tampering and theft of service situations.</div></li><li><div>
Relight gas appliances as necessary as part of the standard gas reconnection process.</div></li><li><div>
Perform all applicable voltage checks, meter base/socket/service wire/and service connections inspections associated with electric meter connect/disconnect/installations/removal and diversion/tampering inspections.</div></li><li><div>
Perform troubleshooting for non-communication electric meters and gas modules.</div></li><li><div>
Paint gas meter-sets and piping as necessary.</div></li><li><div>
Make safe a gas leak as necessary.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Position Requirements:</div><ul><li><div>
High School diploma or equivalent required</div></li><li><div>
Must possess a valid driver license.</div></li><li><div>
All candidates will be expected to pass company -sponsored training, including required gas training to become OQ certified.</div></li><li><div>
Associate's degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Electrical Technology) or minimum 8 hours technical math course work preferred.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>

The Engineering position is responsible for developing, planning and executing projects as well as providing technical expertise on generators, exciters and associated electrical equipment designs, equipment inspections, testing and/or repair projects on this equipment within the Ameren fleet.</i></div><div></div><div><i>
Key responsibilities include:</i></div><div></div><ul><li><div>
Develop engineering solutions, cost and schedule estimates, maintenance and repair specifications, coordination, liaison, and administrative functions related to fleet wide generator/exciter systems.</div></li><li><div>
Determine maintenance requirements and operational standards or limits, plan and direct maintenance outages and testing, and coordinate projects involving generator/exciter equipment and related systems.</div></li><li><div>
Perform testing, validate models and provide documentation to meet all generator/exciter regulatory requirements.</div></li><li><div>
Provide engineering assistance to the company's Energy Centers and other departments within the company on activities requiring experience and expertise with generator/exciter systems.</div></li><li><div>
Interface with industry contacts and outside corporations, including consultants, contractors, and their employees.</div></li><li><div>
Monitor industry practice regarding operation and maintenance of assigned equipment.</div></li><li><div>
Develop, revise and review innovative opportunities that improve generator/exciter systems and expand the organization&rsquo;s current business.</div></li><li><div>
Introduce and assist with special projects, special studies and reports.</div></li></ul><div></div><div><i>
Qualifications</i></div><div>
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable engineering discipline from an accredited college or university required. Five or more years of power plant engineering and/or maintenance and operations experience at fossil, nuclear, or combustion turbine energy centers preferred. Experience with maintenance and operations of generators/exciters is preferred. Will consider recent college graduates.</div><div></div><div>
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:</div><div></div><div>
Must possess good analytical, communication, computer, human relations and leadership skills. Extensive travel between the Energy Centers and the Development and Research Center is required. Position is subject to call-outs, nights, weekends and/or holiday work as well as overtime requirements to support the Energy Centers.</div><div></div><div>

The Substation Design Engineer is responsible for engineering design, project management and technical support for projects relating to new and existing Distribution, Sub-Transmission, and Customer Substations.</div><div></div><div><i>
Key responsibilities include:</i></div><ul><li>
Develop engineering solutions, cost estimates, schedules and preliminary designs associated with initial development and budgeting of substation projects.</li><li>
Perform detailed design, writing and evaluating material and construction specifications.</li><li>
Work with Drafting to direct drawing preparation.</li><li>
Perform cost/benefit analysis.</li><li>
Responsible for overall project cost and scheduling; coordinate activities related to real estate, purchasing, drafting, construction, operating and related engineering groups associated with projects.</li><li>
Provide consulting services to other groups in matters relating to substations and also substation standards development.</li><li>
Work closely with engineering firms contracted to perform Ameren Distribution and Sub-Transmission substation design services.</li></ul><div></div><div><i>
Qualifications</i></div><div>
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university required. Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification preferred. Professional Engineer (P.E.) License or commitment to actively pursue one in Missouri preferred. Two or more years of experience with substations or related equipment, design, substation operation or maintenance or relay experience preferred. Project management or large project engineering experience is preferred.</div><div></div><div>
