<div>Position Overview
Ameritech Contracting is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the full-cycle accounts payable process. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, supporting cash flow management, and contributing to the company&rsquo;s overall financial accuracy and efficiency. 
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Operations<ul><li>
Process and manage accounts payable transactions within Sage Intaact</li><li>
Utilize TimberScan Titanium for invoice acquisition, coding, and routing for approval</li><li>
Manage the Accounts Payable inbox, ensuring timely response and processing of vendor communications</li><li>
Review invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and appropriate approvals</li><li>
Set up and maintain new vendor accounts</li><li>
Work closely with subcontractors regarding billing, invoices, and payment status</li></ul>
Payment Processing<ul><li>
Prepare and execute weekly check runs</li><li>
Conduct Accounts Payable review with management prior to check runs</li></ul>
Reconciliation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>
Maintain accurate Accounts Payable accruals for month-end close</li><li>
Generate and distribute daily financial reports as required</li></ul>
Financial Coordination<ul><li>
Prepare documentation and reporting for weekly finance meetings</li><li>
Support month-end and year-end close processes as needed</li></ul> 
Requirements 
Qualifications<ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li><li>
2&ndash;4+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in construction or contracting</li><li>
Experience with Sage accounting software required</li><li>
Experience with TimberScan or similar invoice management systems preferred</li><li>
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and internal controls</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems</li><li>
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills</li><li>
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li></ul></div>
