Elm Crest Senior Living Community is hiring a Medication Technician (Med Tech) to provide safe, compassionate medication support and resident care within our assisted living community. What You'll Do<ul><li>
Assist residents with medication administration and limited topical treatments under the supervision of the Assisted Living Director</li><li>
Provide quality resident care and support with activities of daily living according to individualized care plans</li><li>
Monitor residents and report changes in condition to appropriate clinical staff</li><li>
Promote residents' physical, emotional, and mental well-being</li><li>
Follow community policies, procedures, and safety standards</li><li>
Ensure compliance with state regulations and medication management requirements</li><li>
Support a positive, resident-centered environment that reflects the mission and values of Elm Crest</li></ul>
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
Must be 18 years of age or older</li><li>
Iowa Medication Manager Certification or Iowa Certified Medication Aide certification required</li><li>
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team</li><li>
Dependable, compassionate, and resident-focused approach to care</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
One year of healthcare, assisted living, or long-term care experience preferred</li><li>
Experience administering medications in a senior living setting preferred</li><li>
Willing to train the right candidate with the required certification</li></ul>
