Location: Mount Holly, North Carolina
Summary: A Cashier at American Dining Creations will provide outstanding customer service while processing sales transactions and assisting guests. This position requires an organized, detail-oriented, and personable individual who can manage point-of-sale operations, restock merchandise, and contribute to an engaging and welcoming guest experience. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, courteous, and passionate about both hospitality and cultural engagement. 
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Greet guests and assist by providing product information and recommendations.</li><li>
Operate the POS system to ring up transactions quickly and accurately, including cash, debit, credit, and mobile payments.</li><li>
Product and menu knowledge, ability to provide recommendations and upselling when able.</li><li>
Balance the POS system and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each shift.</li><li>
Restock, merchandise, and maintain displays to ensure an organized, visually appealing environment.</li><li>
Unpack, price, and stock new inventory shipments.</li><li>
Assist with inventory counts, sales reporting, and reorder recommendations for merchandise and supplies.</li><li>
Support the creation of themed and seasonal displays.</li><li>
Support dining team with preparation, catering, and delivery as needed.</li><li>
Maintain complete cleanliness and organization of the service areas, displays, and all ADC work areas.</li><li>
Provide feedback to the operations team regarding customer preferences and sales trends.</li><li>
Ensure all policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed.</li><li>
Perform all other duties as assigned, including assisting with special events and guest engagement activities as needed.</li></ul> 
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Prior cashier or retail experience in a cultural or hospitality environment preferred.</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.</li><li>
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, guest-centered environment.</li><li>
Basic math and computer skills; familiarity with POS systems.</li><li>
Creative eye for merchandising and presentation.</li><li>
Ability to lift 30 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform light physical tasks related to stocking, display and catering setup, and sanitation duties.</li></ul>
