<div>Position Summary:
The Manager for Financial Operations will be responsible for overseeing the organization&rsquo;s accounts payable and accounts receivable functions on a day-to-day basis. The Manager will also be responsible for other specific duties as detailed below.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Duties:<ul><li>
Serve as the gatekeeper of the online accounts payable processing system (BILL), routing all bills for proper approvals and coding daily
</li><li>Ensure recurring invoices are paid for all operations and HR</li><li>
Collect and maintain W9s for all new and existing vendors for the organization</li><li>
Review staff expense reimbursement submissions for compliance with organization policies and upload the approved submissions weekly for payment processing (Certify)</li><li>
Reconcile and enter the monthly credit card coding for the corporate credit card (American Express)</li><li>
Respond to any vendor or staff questions as needed on accounts payable status and process</li><li>
Review and track monthly credit card report submissions and follow-up on outstanding ones with staff members</li></ul>
Accounts Receivable Duties:<ul><li>
Apply cash receipts to open invoices for all payments received via the lockbox and through ACH/Wire daily in the organization&rsquo;s online association management system (Nimble)</li><li>
Download and save copies of all lockbox documents and receipts from the bank website onto the organization&rsquo;s drive for document retention.
</li><li>Respond to any customer questions as needed to facilitate payment processing to the organization.</li><li>
Manage submission of AR Invoices into customer procurement portals, working with Membership to ensure timely submission</li><li>
Prepare and send out customer invoices as needed</li></ul>
Other Duties:<ul><li>
Complete weekly cash position report for the organization
</li><li>Complete organization census reports as needed &ndash; approximately quarterly
</li><li>Work with outsourced accountants on monthly close documentation and review</li><li>
Assist with yearend audit and 990 requests as needed
</li><li>Assist with Budget Preparation and year end projections</li><li>
Other one-time finance related projects as requested by the SVP of Financial Operations</li></ul> 
Requirements 
Education and Experience:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s in finance, accounting, or related field</li><li>
Minimum 3-5 years of recent experience working in AR/AP or an Accounting Role</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office</li><li>
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail</li><li>
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written</li><li>
Good time management and organizational skills</li><li>
Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations</li><li>
Able to prioritize and multitask effectively</li></ul>
Skills and Attributes:<ul><li>
Excellent project management skills with great attention to detail, and a strong work ethic</li><li>
Self-motivated and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, while managing multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>
Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)</li><li>
Sage Intacct (Accounting System) &amp; BILL (Accounts Payable System) experience preferred</li><li>
Excellent customer service skills</li></ul>
Other:<ul><li>
Position is hybrid, three days in office located in Washington, DC
</li><li>Limited travel is required</li><li>
Target salary range for this position is between $70,000 - $80,000 annually</li></ul>
