Overview:
<div>
As a Bilingual Scheduling Specialist, you&rsquo;ll be the first touch with our patients and create memorable experiences for all of our patients, providers, and team members. A &ldquo;patient first approach&rdquo; is key to success and our Scheduling Specialists play a key role in effectively and compassionately guiding patients and scheduling appointments.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>In a call center environment, display the ability to service patient needs while actively accepting inbound calls with a focus on customer service</li><li>
Use professional communication etiquette, while servicing patient needs based on appointment availability and nearest location.</li><li>
Minimum goal achievement based on monthly review of various metrics and expected requirements.</li><li>
Works with internal partners and clinics on a timely basis to help support and coordinate the needs of our patients.</li><li>
Focused and open to learning new skills to take on various roles based on business need</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>
Bilingual in Spanish (Required)</li><li>
Ability to navigate custom computer software and internal systems - NextGen experience a plus!</li><li>
Experience in Medical Office including Insurance Knowledge highly desirable</li><li>
Detail oriented, reliable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; with the ability to show empathy and active listening skills</li><li>
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism</li><li>
Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred but not required</li></ul>

Overview: As a Scribe, you will work with our providers by documenting information into Electronic Health Record and gather important medical information from the patient, perform preliminary tests, and gather measurements while providing highest quality of care and an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Scribes for the provider by coding and documenting the dictated information into the patient&rsquo;s electronic medical record (EHR)</li>
<li>Reviews patient visit details and preliminary work-up completed by Ophthalmic Technician to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to the provider exam</li>
<li>Fills patient rooms as needed</li>
<li>Reviews provider&rsquo;s schedules to confirm patients are scheduled correctly</li>
<li>Ensures the patient&rsquo;s visit flows smoothly with the provider in the appropriate amount of time</li>
<li>Generates medication prescriptions as directed from the provider through Erx</li>
<li>Educates patients on ophthalmic conditions and consent for procedures and surgery</li>
<li>Performs pretests including Goldmann Tonometry, extra-ocular muscle evaluation, confrontational visual fields, refractions, and lensometry as needed</li>
<li>Communicates any clinic flow concerns with facilitator and management</li>
</ul>Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required</li>
<li>COA, COT preferred</li>
<li>Ophthalmology experience is a plus</li>
<li>General knowledge of clinical and surgical procedure requirements</li>
<li>Strong computer skills</li>
<li>Detailed oriented, reliable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Flexible schedule working Monday through Friday</li>
