Overview:

Using a balance of account management and direct telephone outreach, the primary responsibility of the Regional Account Manager (inside sales) position will be to develop and manage a designated territory with the goal of providing education and care coordination to prescribers for all Amerita products and services. This position acts as a single point of contact by assisting the prescriber in evaluating referrals and performing care coordination to ensure service level requirements are met. In most cases this responsibility is carried out in coordination with a mirrored outside sales representative. The targeted customers are physicians, NPs, PAs, nursing staff, office managers, administrative and pharmacy staff within prescriber offices settings</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Seeks out opportunities for prescriber experience process improvement and collaborates with Pharmacy OPS and outside sales to achieve prescriber experience improvement and sales goals</li><li>
Achieves designated call expectations for assigned prescribers with a focus on top targets, key influencers, and pipeline leads</li><li>
Responsible for identifying, ranking, prospecting, and developing key specialty practices and business relationships in neurology, immunology, and GI accounts within targeted regional territory</li><li>
Assists with sales escalations and communicates routinely with field sales representative partner about details impacting prescriber or patient experience</li><li>
Supports education and delivery of key messages and product presentations within initiatives (i.e. Selling our Success communication, drug launches, Medicare changes, etc.) designed to ensure territory meets performance requirements</li><li>
Responsible for forwarding calls pertaining to clinical information and questions (i.e., dosing directions, adverse events, counseling, etc.) to Staff Pharmacists</li><li>
Documents and meticulously makes notations in each patient&rsquo;s profile and/or CRM regarding every update and aspect of a customer&rsquo;s/physician&rsquo;s care or needs</li><li>
Uses discretion and independent judgment in handling customer complaints received, while documenting and forwarding to appropriate administrative staff</li><li>
Obtains and manages prescriber communication preferences</li><li>
Nurtures and manages prescriber relationships to improve loyalty, and retention</li><li>
Utilizes RAMConnect Tool to ensure all account prescriptions are processed quickly and efficiently throughout the workflow process</li><li>
Assists operations staff and prescriber offices with prior authorizations by following up on outstanding issues and assisting with coordination and communication</li><li>
Ensure that prescription renewal requests are communicated in a timely manner to ensure continuity of care when applicable</li><li>
Works collaboratively with sales to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Associate degree or equivalent program from a two-year college or technical school, or certificate program in pharmacy and/or healthcare</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree desired</li><li>
2+ years&rsquo; healthcare or customer service experience preferred. Familiar with specialty providers, clinic, and hospital communities desired</li><li>
Team player willing to accept and promote organizational goals and function with minimal supervision.</li><li>
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, or senior management.</li><li>
Self-motivated and results driven.</li><li>
Highly effective in working objectively with a diverse group of people and must demonstrate communication, organizational, administrative and office skills.</li><li>
Maintain HIPAA patient confidentiality.</li><li>
Familiarity with general pharmacy terminology, brand, and generic names of medications preferred.</li><li>
Understanding drug reimbursement, Managed Care Medical Specialty and PBM drug benefits.</li><li>
Exceptional probing and consultative communication skills.</li><li>
Proficient in data entry, verbal skills, computer skills and the ability to learn the department&rsquo;s software system including CRM.</li></ul><br>

The Manager, Purchasing and Pump Management is a hybrid leadership and operational role within the Pump Management and Purchasing team, reporting directly to the Sr. Manager of Purchasing and Inventory Management. This position oversees team performance while simultaneously performing hands-on pump management, purchasing, and inventory responsibilities.</div><div></div><div><br>
The individual in this role will collaborate extensively with cross-functional partners&mdash;including Finance, Accounting, Clinical, Operations, IT, and external business partners&mdash;to ensure accurate and timely execution of purchasing and inventory functions. Core responsibilities include managing pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical product purchasing, overseeing product transfers, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting dispensing system updates, and reconciling incoming products. This position is responsible for ensuring consistent product availability, preventing stock outages, and meeting corporate inventory targets for days on hand.</div><div></div><div><br>
In addition, this role oversees pump operations across all branches, focusing on developing, standardizing, and optimizing pump-related practices to improve operational consistency. Key pump-related duties include maintaining accurate pump inventory, ensuring timely turnaround of equipment, enforcing compliance requirements, and training staff accordingly. This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, independent problem-solving, and effective use of ordering systems, databases, and analytical tools to support business needs and drive results.</div><div></div><ul><li><br>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Manages the assigned Purchasing and Inventory Specialist team&rsquo;s performance of responsibilities and provide support across other Trade &amp; Purchasing teams</li><li>
Completion of assigned daily product ordering processes for assigned pharmacies utilizing division pharmacy management ordering systems and certain supplier ordering systems within supplier order cutoff times</li><li>
Monitors open purchase order report and work with supplier to determine supply issues or delayed delivery</li><li>
Utilizes purchasing analytical tools to identify the optimal product quantities to order for the assigned pharmacies to support patient product access and to maintain targeted pharmacy inventory levels</li><li>
Identifies excess product inventory situations and work with team members to support product transfers between pharmacies to balance product days on hand across pharmacies</li><li>
Timely maintain supplier and product information (e.g., acquisition cost) in pharmacy management system and ordering systems</li><li>
Works with suppliers to resolve order and receiving discrepancies and product returns</li><li>
Troubleshoot and resolve purchasing specialist team member challenges (i.e., systems, suppliers, pharmacy, etc.) experienced</li><li>
Ensures implementation of supplier setup with pharmacy divisions DSCSA service supplier</li><li>
Supports training of new employees and coverage for team member and director absence</li><li>
Completion of reporting and other assigned responsibilities</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (preferred)</li><li>
8+ years of pharmaceutical purchasing experience (preferred)</li><li>
4+ years&rsquo; experience supervising others (preferred)</li><li>
Working knowledge Excel, Word, and Outlook (required) and CPR+ or other inventory dispensing system experience (preferred)
</li><li>Certified Pharmacy Technician (preferred)</li><li>
Works well with others</li></ul>
