We offer an exciting, quality early childhood program that benefits all children with our curriculum, inclusive environment, and strong partnerships with parents, staff and the community.We have a full-time Program Coordinator position available.The primary qualifications are:BA in Early Childhood Education or related fieldNYS Teaching Certification (can be in process)Experience working in an early childhood setting a plus!Responsibilities -Assist the Program Director with overall center functions -Ensure the implementation of engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. - Review classroom activities and ensure a safe learning environment for young students. - Utilize effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues. - Develop and adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students. - Monitor and assess student progress to provide individualized support and feedback. - Collaborate with other educators to enhance teaching strategies and student outcomes.Skills &amp; KnowledgeBe warm and loving with a positive attitude and appreciation of childrenMust be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the programAbility to organize and reflect teaching goals and progress in documentation: lesson plans, assessments and evaluations.Ability to attend to daily tasks as an educatorMaintain partnerships with families, center and Amherst Central School District.Teachers must be able to pass 3 state required background checks, be able to walk around neighborhood/lift up to 40 pounds, have a TB test done within the past year and have a medical form completed by a medical professional.'Job Type: Full-timePay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In person
