POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Testing Specialist is responsible for the successful and cost-effective implementation of Amideast Testing programs: ETS: CMD, SAT, PROMETRIC and Miscellaneous tests effectively as per the set policies and procedures. S/he plays an active role in providing customer service and strong public relationship with institutions (schools, academies, universities, and corporates) and create public awareness of Amideast&rsquo;s testing services in the community.

S/he will support registration, administration, training; contacting Proctors, Test Center Administrators (TCAs), Test Center Supervisors (TCSs), tracks documents and forms and update databases; complete reporting documentation; consistently ensure that that testing quality and security standards are met; and will actively interact with all stakeholders in a professional and positive manner and all associated logistics. 


RESPONSIBILITIES 

<ul>
<li>Support testing department members in all projects &amp; tasks assigned</li>
<li>Perform actively in cross-functional projects teamwork tasks</li>
<li>Learn all testing product knowledge and act as testing resource for all projects</li>
<li>Handle testing unit duties (test registrations, back-office work &amp; results)</li>
<li>Comply with all procedures set forth by the various international test regulations &amp; client&rsquo;s agreement</li>
<li>Handles onsite &amp; offsite test administrations</li>
<li>Maintain excellent relationship with all stakeholders including schools, academies, universities, and corporates</li>
<li>Supervise Test Center Administrators (TCAs), Test Center Supervisors (TCSs), and Proctors. Support in scheduling their assignments</li>
<li>Registers candidates for paper and pencil examinations and computer-based examinations by accurately collecting, entering, and verifying candidate information and payment information</li>
<li>Receive, verify test materials, and securely store them till test date</li>
<li>Handles all filling system &amp; maintain organized track for storage inventory</li>
<li>Score, and distribute test scores</li>
<li>Handle local registration, confirmation with test takers and candidate complaints courteously and promptly</li>
<li>Monitor the usage and expiration of voucher logs for local registration of international tests</li>
<li>Complete PROMETRIC certification and pass certification exam annually</li>
<li>Act as Prometric TCA when needed</li>
<li>Support in preparing accurate data for invoice, annual business plan, budget, etc</li>
<li>Respond promptly to testing inquiries and provide information about various testing programs to candidates</li>
<li>Acts as test day supervisor in Institutional TOEFL and TOEIC examinations for internal and external clients and takes all required security precautions according to set rules &amp; regulations to maintain test security</li>
<li>Work in remote proctoring project for TOEIC and TOEFL Exams. Handle 2 roles proctor and administrator
</li><li>Schedule TOEIC public exams with ETS according to set deadlines and arrange and proctor test administrations.</li>
<li>Handle online shopping cart and ensure test takers are registered, rescheduled to proper exams, ensure refunds are processed, extract rosters for online registrations, update test policies</li>
<li>Submit a full report following any event or testing administration regarding policy violations and any issue that occur during the test administration</li>
<li>Distributes TOEFL, TOEIC and SAT score</li>
<li>Create additional score reports and mail them to institutions</li>
<li>Assist in the preparation and distribution of SAT scores</li>
<li>Coordinate none ETS paper-based exams, online exam activities, and arrange for test events including their staffing and work closely with the client to meet and exceed customer service levels and maintain test security and integrity</li>
<li>Complete departmental forms by thoroughly and accurately documenting information to provide quality service</li>
<li>Records and prepares accurate monthly statistics</li>
<li>Attend ETS &amp; Amideast H.Q meetings, training &amp; calls</li>
<li>Provide backup support for Testing Unit Representatives during peak hours, shifts and staff absence</li>
<li>Handle work tasks and responsibilities independently and with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Work closely with several internal departments &amp; grant</li>
<li>Handles all escalated calls in a professional and positive manner</li>
<li>Identify customer issues and concerns and respond where needed</li></ul> 
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 


Required

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in any relevant field</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 - 7 years of work experience preferably in the field of Education/ administration</li>
<li>High language proficiency in both Arabic and English</li>
<li>Very good email writing skills</li>

<li>Project management skills with precise attention to detail, planning, organizing, and ability to work under time pressure</li>
<li>Strong decision making and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>

<li>Must be available to work in afternoons/evenings and weekends, for the announced exam dates when requested and as needed. (Additional hours in afternoons to be compensated in other work days)</li>

POSITION DESCRIPTION 

The Exchange Program Specialist will support the Scholarship and Exchange Department in the administration of various grants and fee for service programs. S/he will provide scholarship assistance as well as conduct day-to-day activities within the department, most importantly certification service, and provide up-to-date information about the Egyptian educational system to institutional members and university representatives. S/he will also assist management in overseeing the implementation of all grant programs and handling program details while ensuring customer satisfaction. The Exchange Program Specialist may also support several different projects across departments based on business need. 


RESPONSIBILITIES 
 
Tasks and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

<ul><li>Work with public and private academic institutions and organizations to distribute information about exchange programs</li>
<li>Assist the Grants Portfolio Manager and Program Lead in the implementation of all grant programs and handling program details while ensuring customer satisfaction</li>
<li>Collaborate in the development of new exchange program concept papers and proposals that serve Amideast&rsquo;s mission, vision, and values for Egypt</li>
<li>Contribute in the department strategic planning, goal setting and annual budget preparation as required</li>
<li>Prepare and submit accurate and timely technical, statistical, and financial reports to partners, donors, and to Amideast HQ budget for all exchange programs as required</li>
<li>Coordinate with Amideast HQ, Amideast/Egypt-Alexandria, and other Amideast Field offices as needed</li>
<li>Review applications for completeness and eligibility and facilitate application review to identify semifinalists</li>
<li>Handle logistics for pre-departure orientations on selected programs</li>
<li>Communicate and update the Exchange programs alumni database</li>
<li>Organizing alumni events with Exchange department staff and other required parties</li>
<li>Provide logistical support for the Study USA College Fair</li>
<li>Respond to inquiries from prospective exchanges programs participants</li>
<li>Contribute to identifying, screening, and orienting participants about the various exchange programs</li>
<li>Arrange interviews of semifinalists and finalize interviews logistics</li>
<li>Communicate regularly via email and telephone with the finalists to provide updated information about program contents and arrangements</li>
<li>Prepare and disseminate pre-departure briefing materials to finalists and follow up on the visa application process in a timely manner</li>
<li>Maintain department processes in an efficient and effective manner</li>
<li>Collaborate positively with other Amideast departments (education and Training, Testing, and Customer Service)</li>
<li>Maintain active networks with local and international organizations and institutions involved in exchange programs and keep abreast of changes and developments in Egyptian public and private education to identify opportunities for Amideast</li>
<li>Provide administrative and logistical support for exchange programs including making housing arrangements and other administrative tasks when needed</li>
<li>Register clients in the various in office information sessions</li>
<li>E-market for the Exchanges services among the exchange programs alumni</li>

QUALIFICATIONS 
 
Required
